i work for an electric company and we are aware of this "proposal". proceed with caution at any time someone is asking for information and wanting to sell you things over the phone or enter your home. i have had people call us and say the exact same thing except someone walked up to their home in an unmarked car advertising the same proposal to save money on your electric bill. our company does do an energy survey and we come to your home free of charge if you believe to have a problem in your home and we recommend what to do to fix it to help your energy go down. if you have any doubts, call your electric company! we can help you! :)

Received a call from 352-438-9702. Some Lady asked me by name if I like to save on my electric bill. They would come by and inspect the house and advise me how to save at least $ 50 a month.  I told her Clay Electric had done this for me. Her answer was Clay Electric only does an audit and not an inspection like they do. I told her I would call Clay Electric. Her answer was - you do not need to call Clay Electric and hung up. Who are those people? Reminds me of a report I saw on TV. They pretend to do a survey in your house for free and later come back and rob you blind.

They Hung up when the machine answered, so I used the *60 call block service to block this number from calling again.

I just got a call from this number at 9pm at night stating that they are an energy conservation company.
Anybody know who these people are

Asked if my electric bill was higher than $100 per month. I told him my spouse worked for the power co and we got it for free. I am getting good at thinking up things to mess with these intruders.

WHY THEY CALL ME ?

Contrary to the statement " if you don't recognize a name/number, you're not obligated to answer the call" by AS IF. I am not obligated to answer the call if I do recognize the Caller ID. Very few, if any, calls get live answered here. If you really want to talk to us or it is important then you will leave a message. If not, have a nice day!!

Called a couple of times but hangs up when the answering machine picks up!!!!!!

AS IF I'M GOING TO DO BUSINESS WITH A "COMPANY" that HIDES behind a caller id of "Wireless Caller."  

Bottom line:  if you don't recognize a name/number, you're not obligated to answer the call.  At that, they hung up before the machine even picked up.  This tells me not only are they using burner cells, or spoofed numbers, but they're illegally using automatic dialers.

Some company talking about the recent rate increase for FPL and wanting to ask me a few questions. I explained that I have heard from multiple people and told them I wasn't interested and she said she hadn't spoken to me before and tried to continue the phone call. I always have to say I'm not interested and hang up. Funny thing is, she asked for me and my name is not the one on the electric bill.

No message/Unknown Caller
