Call and ask for parents and that they will call back later

They call and ask if my parents are home and that they will call back later

This number calls at least once a day.  No one there if answered.  We are on DNC list !!

Its from The Daily Commercial. I just called it back and it said "thank you for calling your local newspaper" but yet, when I answer it when it's actually calling me, it just goes to a dead line.

Calls my cell, which only family knows the number. Doesn't leave a message.

Okay, so I just called the number back and it said "thank you for calling your local newspaper, please hold and someone will be right with you"  - this time, I hung up!  ;)

They called my office and when I answered, they listened to me, I could hear them, when I said hello again, they hung up.....  I HATE crap like this..... we are on a do not call list like everyone else yet they continue to call.

They call once or twice a day. Never leave a message. Today, I finally answered but in Spanish. I said, "Hola" in a very fragile older women's voice. I heard a lot of tele-marketers in the background. The woman's voice asked if I spoke English. I replied, "No", so she said "Thank you" and hung up. I still don't know what they want!!

And if it was on the 'UP and UP', I am sure that there would have been someone that spoke Spanish that she could have put on the phone to speak to me.

As it is, I do not speak Spanish but I would have been able to at least ask what company it was? I am getting sick of the phone calls and if I knew the company's name ---I would tell them myself.

We are on the "Do Not Call List". That does NOT seem to be working Lately. A waste of Government $$$$, like so many other "PROJECTS" JMHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (just my humble opinion)!!!

I get a call at least once a day, but there is never anyone there.
Is there any way to block future calls?

received call from this number, then they hang up

keeps calling. nobody on line. can't call back.
