Got 2 consecutive calls from 352-505-1164. Humm on the line. No one there. 2/25/08

Received a call today from 352.505.1164 with a caller ID name of International Gateway and realized that it was a business associate who uses SIP trunking on their phone system to handle their VoIP traffic.  So it appears the callerID is coming from the SIP Trunking provider and not the actual person calling.  The person on the other end of the line may very well be a legitimate caller.

Calls about twice a month about credit obligations. Want to help clear these oblig. He seems to be asian and when I ask how he got information on me he hung-up

Received several calls from (352) 505-1164 at 2/25/2008 @ 2000, the call seems to map to a Gainesville Land line.

We also received a call from out of area-code relatives (940). Caller ID comes up "International Gateway" but calling the number gives a "this number is disconnected" warning.

Seems to me its a calling card or Internet phone gateway into the 352 area code. I doubt my relatives are spoofing caller ID.

interesting phenomenon: when a friend of mine calls from Orlando, his house phone registers as this number; however, their telephone number is not this number.  when I call their regular number, I get them.  but if I dial this number that registers as their call, I get a "this line is disconnected" tone set.  I'm quite certain that my friends are not making prank calls.

Don't know who this is, didn't answer and they didn't leave voicemail. Called twice on 2/11/08. When I called back, the recording said the number is not in service (or something to that extent).
