I have been receiving calls from this number over the past few weeks. I called back and the recording stated "Thank you for calling our Fund Raising center."

I have several law-enforcement family members and they all say that if these clowns were any more crooked, the boys in blue would be paying them a visit, and it wouldn?t be to thank them for their community service!  They are an eighteen-carat scam, don?t give them a dime.

Calling for YEARS, but only got caller ID recently.  They have been calling between 6-9am and between 5pm-9pm (latest was 8:45pm- someone actually spoke on the machine and said sorry....)

Once I contributed, but of late, I say I will, but never do.  And they keep mailing stuff out...... talk about the left hand not knowing what the right is doing.

yeah,,,had told them to take me off their list and they still call my home!!! Had given them moneys and that was a mistake!!! Would like to be left alone!!! the humane sociaty needs money too!!! For the kitties and puppies!!! for shame WASFF to be so greedy!!!!;(

Calls keep coming through from ph#: 360-230-1600   We have requested to please stop calling.  Calls continue.  Very frustrating.

You are on their sucker list.  One donation earns you a permanent place on that list.

This type of scam has made the newspaper several times.  Typically they donate $100 to some random fire department.  That earns them the right to say "we are supporting the fire department".  They then collect several thousand dollars and keep it all.  

Do not give them any money.  Hang up on them as soon as they call.  With a little luck they'll eventually give up, but it will probably take several years.

We get calls from this and like numbers every day. Every year my husband gives money to the state firefighters and they call from a completely different number then this and always in the early spring.

Last night he tried to question these people about it and as soon as he asked it they hung up on him. Red flags are all over these numbers.

These guys are relentless!  Every day for weeks. They are NOT listed as a charity in the state at

They are fund raisers for the WA Fraternal Order of Police, WA Fire Department, and some sort of other State Police or something.

These people are the most harrassing people on the planet.  After many, many requests to stop calling they persist, multiple times per day.

Do NOT talk to them, ever.  If they do talk to you, hang up.  DO NOT give any money to these crooks!  I'm not even sure at this point they actually give any money to these agencies.
