This is a complete scam, these people call me all the time from different numbers.  They are magic jack or stolen numbers.  It's always the same thing, if you ordered something or even put your info on an online pharmacy site, they either sell you number or what have you and call you saying it's against the law and they are going to arrest you unless you wire money.  I talked to one guy who always alls me, this number is a new guy but same thing.  I kept calling the guy back making him mad, and he actually told me he makes money off losers who believe him.  Please don't believe them!!  They scam lots of money of people and the guy gets away with it.

These guys and girls (I use that term loosely) are such a lousy scam. Contact your local or state Attorney Generals office, they don't care about any pharmacy crap like that, just posing as a US federal agent.  Country lines do not apply here, if they are posing as agents from the US, they are under US jurasdiction.  Do NOT send them any monies!!!!

I was so pissed that someone was trying to rip me off, I decided to play along and string them out as long as I could, and waste there time.  As the "investigation" went along my first DEA agent, Andrew Wessen, was fired because I was taking too long.  So agent Thompson took over.  After about four days of negotiating with them and telling them the money was sent and there was just a problem with Western Union, I asked them if they new the minimum jail sentence for falsely posing as a federal agent, and let them know I knew what was going on.  I thought they would hang up.  But agent Thompson said she'll never get caught because they were in Cuba, and that she loves taking stupid Americans money.  She bragged how successful her scam was, and kept saying how much she hated America.  It was entertaining listening to the responses they would come up with for my questions, but my advice is just hang up.

I just got a call from special agent Brian O'Connor also, same badge #, he asked for $2200.  I found on another site that this IS a scam and if you get a call from this phone # you should call Nicole Krieg at the US Dept of Justice, 314-538-4865 to report it.  I called her, left a message and she called me back to assure me it was a scam.

More research suggests that this # belongs to an Edward Thomson in Longview.  Rice's address is in Portland.

I got sucked in to the point where  "Special Agent O'Connor, Badge #11007" offered to enroll me in the "Gateway Program" but I had to put up a $1600 refundable bond to enter the program.  I did some research and this # was registered to Everette Rice on 525 N. Baldwin St. in Longview, OR 97217, with email of ebrice@msn.com

see ed's replay. If you ask them and act like you known they are a fake they will hang up. It has happen to me today. Do't give them any information!

Anne, how did you determine that the call and caller was legit and not some kind of scam? ? What was your investigation plan - in detail please?

Crystal, this still seems like a scam to me. Don't think DEA people phone you about an investigation.

Woman calls and says she is an agent from the DEA in Washington state and that my name has come up as part of an investigation and that it is imperative that I give her a call immediately. Sounds bogus. Has anyone else gotten one of these calls?
