Comcast really should add more than 12 numbers we can block. Like 12 is great, but my cell phone can block unlimited numbers will the Call Control App.

These calls are not coming from the Registry or the Federal Trade Commission, and you should not respond to these calls. Repeated calling. They don't leave a message. I don't recognize the number and won't answer or call back.

I just received another call from this number. The caller I.D. said "Financial Ctr." Not recognizing the number nor the caller, I allowed it to go to voicemail. No message was left, but this is becoming rather annoying considering my number is registered on the "Do Not Call" list.

I've received a call from this number - they never leave any messages.  I answered - the woman asked if I wanted to lower my rates and I said "no, I want to have my number removed from your list" - she hung up.  I called the number and got a prompt that is supposed to remove me from thier call list.  Right, I think this makes them call even more!

I get this type of annoyance call several times a week at all differant times.  These sleezebags do not abide by the Do Not Call rules because they are scam outfits.  This type of nusiance is escalating and it's nearly impossible to stop.  I keep an airhorn by my phone and when I have the opportunity to get one of the scum on the phone, I give them a good blast.  You can find these air horns at any dollar store, otherwise a whistle works pretty well too!

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who's business involves facilitating illegal telemarketing calls in apparent violation of 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

I get at least two to three calls a day from these people.  I don't understand why they bother.  I don't answer, the number is blocked on my phone and yet every day, they call again and again and again.  Although let's face it, these people are morons.  What do they think?  That on the 47th phone call, I'm going to answer and say, "Oh yeah, sign me up!"

Received a call from this number earlier today.  My son picked it up - automated message saying "This is credit card services.  Final courtesy call before we close your account."  Luckily he realized what kind of call it was and just hung up - promptly giving me all the information!  Unbelievable what these companies do.

Thank you, Michael, for letting me know. I actually had just dialed it before I was reading your post. These losers called me about 10 minutes ago. I didn't answer and I let my machine get it. Before I could read your post, I read the other one and it was too late. I think I was just charged $3+ for doing that! :( Wish I had read your post sooner. It's a shame that scum like this (the telemarketers) have cost me $3+ of my hard earned money!!

Just got a call from Financial CT, picked up the phone, nobody answered. Blocked their number.  To you all out there, get a phone that has a feature to block unwanted calls (numbers).  Works like a charm.  Next time when someone calls with blocked number, phone rings once & disconnects.  Caller ID shows "Blocked Caller".  Problem solved until next annoying caller.

My story is the same as one of the last comments: ........I received an automated phone call from 360-474-3980 stating that they were closing my credit card account if I did not consolidate my credit cards to 6 % with a balance of at least $3,000.00.  This was the "last phone call" I would get because I did not respond to the mailings that they sent. (I never rec'd any mailings).  The call asked me to hit 1 to speak to a representive so I did.  I asked how they got my phone number and the man disconnected the call.  My phone number is on the do not call list and I want to know how these scammers are getting my phone number........This tells my story EXACTLY!  I also should add that I don't even owe any credit card debt!!! I will report these people to the local authorities. I feel so badly for people who are more naive and don't know that they will be scammed if they deal with this trash.

Frontier and verizon are the same company.  The caller wants people with less than 100 shares of their stock to consider selling it back.  I would never trust any random caller with any kind of financial deal.  Thats how the elderly lose their life savings.

To Michael & others who may think about doing it:
Do not use the *57 option to "trace" a call because each time you do it costs you $$$ & the police have better things to do than to go on "wild goose chases" & of course the so-called "Do Not Call" registry is even more useless. There even may be laws against "blowing whistles" into some "a*******'s" eardrum & because they know your number but in no way, shape or form are you ever going to find their physical location, that could spell trouble for you under some stupid legislation that prevents, (and I use this term respectfully to we who abide by the law, not to or for these scumbag telemarketers who couldn't even get a job cleaning toilets which is where they belong) us from being "protected", yet these brainless "dick-heads" get both protection & ignorance from our supposed "lawmakers".
Simply just do this & use YOUR HEADS & forget the "D****EADS": If you do not recognize the phone number (if you have caller ID) just don't answer it! If it is someone whom you may know calling from outside of an area code that may otherwise be familiar to you because perhaps you have family or friends in that particular area code, then if they are really interested in talking to you, they will leave a message. I can also usually tell when it is telemarketer scum in that a legitimate call will ring 6-times before my voice-mail "kicks-in". These losers will hang-up after only 4-rings & at the same time as when you may be (and don't for goodness sake!) answering the call & getting nothing but "dead silence" from these "dead heads without brains" it is because they are already calling the next fool on their nothing more than automatic dialers. Hope all of this helps but use common sense because for these idiots it is all too obvious that "sense" to them is uncommon!

The carrier changes - You listed Frontier Communications, Northwest Inc.  My check revealed it was Verizon, Northwest Inc.  These people jump from phone company to phone company as soon as they get threatened.

I've never done business with this company, but they insist on calling my telephone number which is registered with Do Not Call.  They calim to be ble to reduce credit debt and interest rates.  I haave sked them to cease and desist on several occasions, but the calls just keep coming.  DNC apparently cannot locate these people to in order to prosecute them.

I wish that we had a good way of blowing up all of ph. #'s 360-474-3980 ph. lines!  Maybe then they ( inconsiderable morans) would understand that we do not want to be bothered with their information!  I have recieved at least 15 calls within a 3 hr period!  Nobody answers when I answer.  I am in the process of blocking the number, but it is an inconvienience!!  I hope their whole scheem blowes up in smoke,, I am so tired of getting their ph. calls.  And if you have a quam about this,, stay on the line and talk to me,,  you bunch of idiots!!!!!  obiously you know my number,, you will be recorded for your information.  Where are our rights?  There should be an 800 # that we complain to,,, and that something can be done to stop this,, ph blocks is good but not an immediate solution!!!

This is one persistent caller. The phone rang so many times I lost count. No message, of course.
