I was called from this number about 10 minutes ago, and when I answered, a computer said hello and hung up.

They call me day and night looking for someone else's name. There's no option to press, saying I'm not that person.
Is this a scam or what?

Doesn't matter how much you allegedly owe - per the FDCPA, you should not pay any caller who refuses to MAIL a debt validation letter showing you owe a debt and that they have the legal right to collect said debt.  In fact, your caller only has five days from the date of their first call to you to mail this DVL.  Please do report your caller to the FTC and your state's Attorney General.

Bill collector telling us we owed money  that we didn't know about. Then he got an attitude when I asked if I could pay it on the first . He told me it was just 41 dollars and I could afford it. Wtf how do you know what I can afford. Then he started screaming at me. He called at least 5 to 7 times a day and need left a message .

Bill Collector... they call my phone minimum 5 times most days and never leave a msg...  total harrassment if ya ask me......

Have calls everyday and never say a word when I answer the calls.

I have had 8 calls from this number; one as late at 8:30pm.  Once I was asked to hold as soon as I picked up. I hung up. Twice they hung up on me.  I have answered and hung up on them. Now I just don't answer when they call.  What a bother. How idiotic can a company be?

Got two calls from this outfit, both at 8pm on a weeknight.  I hung up on the first call, when the recording asked me to "Hold on please" and started playing music.  As if!  When the second call came in the following evening, I hung on through three cycles of "hold on please" and music until a person came on, mispronounced my name speaking very roughly.  I asked who  he was, and he said he was Michael and was this [mispronounced my name].  I said I would identify myself if he would tell me his business.  He said I had a T-Mobile account that was overdue.  I replied I had never done business with T-Mobile and to remove my name from this list and never call again.  Then he yelled, "Well you have FRAUD on this account and only I can help you get it straightened out!"   I repeated that he was never to call again and hung up.  

He never said who he worked for or represented, but his employer isn't smart enough to block their own phone's ID.

Nine calls to my cell in Feb from this number, also from the same prefixes:

No idea who they are but they never leave messages.  I answered once but the line clicked and hung up.  Have had trouble in the past in collectors calling me because my name is similar to someone else. Can't tell how much time I've had to spend doing someone's job for them by having to confirm I'm not the person they're looking for.  Very frustrating!

They called my phone looking for someone else and when I told them they did not live with me the got VERY RUDE and told me they were going toget ahold of that person and tell them how rude I was to them and I threw the person they were looking for under the bus. WTH?

I answered and immediately got put on hold. How rude.
