Caller ID said "POWER COMP." Yeah, right. I never pick up to anyone I don't recognize. Let it go to answering machine, never a message. I have a long list of these numbers and spoof names. They've used 360-529 before.

I sure hope some modern-day geek working for the feds is getting ready to spring the trap on these tele-thugs, much as the accountant brought down Al Capone.

99% of these numbers are spoofed - they do not originate from, nor are they associated with, the numbers that appear in your caller ids.  Aside from the benefit lots of reports have in indicating that there are a lot of frustrated citizens, reporting them to the FCC/feds/whatever is virtually useless as they have no way of catching them (remember, the spoofed numbers, not the "real" offenders/the originating numbers are reported).  The FCC (or some similar org) is offering $500K to the person/group/org that provides the best solution for stopping these idiots from making our lives miserable with their incessant phishing/spamming.  Until something systemic is done to stop them, they'll continue their harrassment.  Until that time, (unless you want to exponentially multiply your frustration) don't let them know they've reached a valid number -- do not answer any unknown calls or interact with them in ANY way.

Just filled out the complait form at the WA OAG's site.  We shall see.  This number has called me repeated over the last 6 months (4-5 times /day for 4-5 days then silence for 2-3 weeks then we start all over again)!!

Never leaves a message.

Called 0830am PDT.  Dead air on the other end.  Nuisance call.

Keeps calling no message left

JD, is they say they are calling from Los Angeles and it's a 360 number what do you think that means?  They call daily, twice a day, I endulged them today trying to get more information out, didn't get much really except they are trying to pre-qualify people for security systems and sell the lead from what I could surmise. They hang up on you as soon as they realize they aren't going to get anywhere and you want off their calling list. I would like to be able to call them back and get at their supervisor to find out how they got my info.

This number just called again, I answered, and after a pause "Tim" cam on the line and proceeded to try and get information out of me.  Offering "free" HOME SECURITY" system, says installation is likely free.  I asked a question for each question he asks me, Tim said he was calling from HOME PROTECTION of Los Angeles despite the area code being from 360. I asked how they got my number and he said from "one of their marketing partners". I asked which one and he said that would be a question for the "Security Specialist" when he calls me back.  To have them call me back he would need my name and other information. As soon as I asked to be off their calling list and again who provided my number he pretty much hung up. They are fishing for leads....

I am getting call to my landline from this number, calling early in the morning, twice a day, not getting a message, just silence!

Thank you JD!!  Lots of useful info I will follow up on.  I received 2 calls yesterday on my cell, which is only for emergencies.  Didn't answer because # unknown.  No message left.  I have received calls from some of the other numbers listed in the blog...same story.  I am on the Federal & NYS DNC lists but that's pretty much meaningless.

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who's business involves facilitating illegal telemarketing calls in violation of 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

called me 10:50 Am. I don't answer calls from any number I don't know.

It's spam. Even if you request to be on their Do Not Call list they still call.

Called three or four times in the last 2 hours. THey have used this phone number and other numbers too. It comes up as "Direct Access" on my caller ID. Leaves no messages and didn't even answer when I decided to try and say hello.

Has called my phone twice now, no message left.  Probably spam.

Have gotten a call from this number each of the past two mornings.  Called it back from another number that they cannot reach me on.  The message on their end says it is a marketing call from a commercial entity, blah blah blah.  Tired of this crap.

Called and no response. Calls multiple times each day.
