Yep, add me to this list. I've only received 2 calls. I always have my phone on silent. No voicemails were left. I went to call it back, and it went straight to a switchboard. Weird.

This number is calling me daily at all different times. I've had my number for 10 years and am on the dnc list. I'm going to file with the powers that be next week if this keeps up. Any suggestions? They hang up if you answer.

Since you have a new phone there are several possibilities - 1. They are trying to contact the old number's person. 2. They are using a robodialer which will call every number in sequence. DO NOT CALL BACK. That will show the caller that you have a live number. Also if you get a "Press a number to ----". That will also tell them you have a live usable number.

I also have been receiving multiple calls on a brand new phone number I just got yesterday. I have had the phone less than 24 hours and have received 6 phone calls already. Today I answered twice to tell whoever was on the other end that they have the wrong number. I could hear a small bit of background noise prior to it sounding like the caller hit the mute button, there was silence for 2 seconds then they disconnected the call. I said hello multiple times and was never answered. Has anyone actually made a report of this number or business to places like BBB or anything? Has calling back and entering your number to be removed from their call list worked? Thanks for any more info!

Received a call at 8:30 pm. Did not answer and no message left. I read the dnc info and wondering if this call is to see farm my number since I have owned this number for over 10 years. I am on the national dnc list. Does anyone know if we need to renew on the dnc list.

Google Verafast - interesting read. Here is a start: Since 1976 Ver-A-Fast has been one of the largest, most unique verification companies in the USA. We have grown to become a recognized leader in customer acquisition and retention, consulting and data provisioning services over multiple industries including newspaper, financial, banking, directory and retail organizations.
This is something else they do: One of the most pressing challenges for companies today is the escalating size of their internal DNC file. Over the last several years, Ver-A-Fast's Do-Not-Call Cleanse? Program has helped companies annually remove upwards of 20% of the numbers on their internal DNC file.
Through our multi-step monthly process, permanently disconnected and newly connected telephone numbers can be identified and removed. It's important to note that not all disconnects are being removed; only those numbers that have been permanently disconnected and are going to be reassigned to someone new. Numbers that are temporarily disconnected are not removed since it is not definite the number will stay disconnected.
It's also important to make sure that you keep your internal DNC file separate from the Federal and State DNC files. They are mutually exclusive and just because a number comes off of one list does not mean you can take it off any of the other lists.
How it works...
Ver-A-Fast will run (verify) your entire internal DNC file monthly. After the initial run, the company can send a new DNC file each month. Your DNC File should include the date the DNC was requested.
We will report any updates to phone numbers within the prior month. Updates include phone numbers that have been permanently disconnected or newly connected. Our unique process is able to differentiate between permanent and temporary disconnects. Permanent disconnects are numbers that can be safely removed from your internal DNC file. Newly connected phone numbers are returned with name and complete addresses. A date stamp is included indicating the date of the phone number update. So internal DNC with active dates prior to our date stamp can be removed.

I started receiving calls from this number 360-882-3504 on 9/26/13 at 10:45 am EST. The second call received was on 9/30/13 at 1:45 pm EST. The third call received was on 10/3/13 at 9:33 am EST. I did not answer any of the calls
Caller ID shows only that the number is from Washington. When I call the number back there is only an automated message stating to "Enter your telephone number to be removed from their list and it will take two days to remove"
I entered my phone to be removed. Google maps shows this is a residential address and is calling from provider Qwest Corporation. See this website for information http://www.reversegenie.com/reverse_phone/360-882-3504/
If they continue to call I will notify the authorities.

I just called back the number and the message said if you wanted to be removed from the call list to enter your number and it will be removed within 2 days. If not my next call is to the Vancouver Poo Poo.

Caller ID identifies the person as Sylvia Llamas from Vancouver, Washington. The caller never leaves a message but continues to call every day. If she offers you a subscription for a newspaper, simply ask for a free trial before offering any credit card information. That way if the paper arrives for a few weeks, you know that she is affiliated with the paper in some form. Otherwise, subscribe locally. The price is the same.

The person on the line claimed that she's calling from Mercury News Customer Service, and offering me a new deal of news paper subscription. That's one way to get your credit card number.
