Received a call Nov. 4 2013 but no one was there when I answered. I have received a lot of political calls recently in the run up to the vote.  I'm thinking its an auto-dial and they are either out of money (ha!) or motivated volunteers (zilch/all 'robo' scripts) to engage me or my opinions on the topic. Likely a service who is contracted by 'the big boys' is my guess.

Just got one from this number myself, and have to agree with the last poster.  We've got way too many people who make their decisions based on the ballot text or vote with their heart instead of their brain.  READ the initiative, people.  Make an informed decision, don't just say "well, I want to know what's in my food!"  As usual, the ballot text is a VERY high-level (and incomplete...) summary.  There's a lot more to this initiative than that.

I've already voted "NO" on the initiative (mail-in ballot), not for the reasons given (and money spent) by the food industry, but because it is poorly/inadequately written, not accomplishing what the public assumes that it does. The initiative text is not that long, or difficult to understand. Everyone should READ it. It exempts a number of segments, including all restaurants, and is limited to only WA state. This type of legislation is better regulated, and currently is, at the federal level by the FDA. I am an aerospace engineer, not involved in the agriculture/food industry, with no vested interest in either side. Caution: As in most instances, both sides have been deceptive/inaccurate in their advertisements. Read it and decide for yourself.

This is a political message for residents of WA state urging them to vote NO on 522 in the Nov 2013 election. Phone spam!

This also guarantees that we will vote yes. All the big money against this initiative Is from the people that are trying to poison us with their weed killers. They figure if they spend enough money, that they can brain wash the people.

One more thing... May I copy & paste your message onto facebook, not your name just the info about the phone number and the listing of all the greedy contributors names (and brands)?

Darn, I didn't get to finish reading the first sentence in your post when the phone rang for the second time. I went to answer it so I could have a discussion IF anyone answered; probably just a recording so I could let them no I'm voting YES and stop calling! But now that I know thank you.

I too am tired of receiving these calls telling me all the reasons I shouldn't vote for 522 and all I can think of is why I SHOULD! What is the matter with all these corporations and their paid "faces" that they are willing to spend 10's of millions of dollars to defeat this measure, but bi*** about how expensive it would be to relabel everything. Shame on all these mega-corporations and their professional nay sayers.

Anti 522 call.  This is about the Genetic Modified Food that is on the ballot.  They do not want you to vote for it because they want to sell you GMO foods.  This call guarantees I will vote FOR it.    I for one have no desire to eat any food that is genetically modified.

Since I live in Hawaii, not sure why these jackacces are calling me with no on GMO bill.  If you call the number back 360 9344957 you can input #1 2 times to have your number removed fron the call list.  I have reported them to the DNC list and do it every time that they call me.

Call last night at 8:01 pm from Raymond, Washington.  Did not leave a message, since I did not answer it. I am so fed up with telemarketers that I have turned off the ringers on my land-line phones.

I got a robo-call on 10/14  from "April" inviting me to a live town hall discussion.  Yeah, right.  It is my policy to vote the opposite of what any of the out of state interests want me to vote.  What is good for them can't be good for me, and I am mighty tired of these people coming into my state and telling me what to do and how to think.  The so-called experts in their ads are all bought and paid for.  This initiative really pukes me - what are they afraid of?

A message telling me to Vote NO on initiative 522.  I WANT to know what is in my food and what the corporations have done to my food.  I do not like the idea of drinking Roundup for breakfast or any other meal.

Just got two in a row from this Frankenfood genitacally modified food manufacturers and sellers $17 Million Dollar anti-labeling campaign. These good/crop contaminaters want to deny us the choice of avoiding their insidiously, unwholesome adulterated "foods."

The immediate follow-up call had caller ID blocked & invited me to listen to a phone conference propaganda call at 7 PM PST Tuesday. If only, unscreened questions might be asked on such a call!  Fat chance.

Thanks dan. I just got two more of these calls. One right after the other because I didn't pick up the first one. That makes 4 now. Thanks for all your info. A ton of money is going into the defeat of I522. If you follow the money, most, if not all contributors are proponents of GMO poison. Monsanto gave over 4 million to defeat it too.

I totally agree! I got my first call from this number on 10/8/13, and just now (10/10/13) I got the second. Also CID says Local Call. I shut my answering machine off months ago and let the phone ring, and it really cut down on the amount of scam calls I get.

Received a call. No message

This number calls several times every day.  It always precedes the number with the words Local Call.  I believe it is probably politically motivated.  If I am home I just turn off the answering machine so that they only get endless rings and no connection.  Why can't we stop these annoying calls?  It seems that the homeowner's right not to be disturbed by unwanted calls is usurped by the rights of those who insist on annoying you!
