I don't want a call from u

I found this quite useful in dealing with them: After numerous times of dealing with them, I took a chance that they were just robocalling hundreds of numbers and had no memory of who they spoke with before.  The next time they called, I introduced myself as an officer in the local police department.  They hung up and stopped calling for several months.

This number also called me...  But I did not answer the call.  I do not answer calls from numbers not in my contact list.  But there is another option you might try...  The next time an unknown, blocked, restricted call comes in answer it and say in a whisper "It's done, but there is blood everywhere." and hangup.

ok - I just started getting their calls, so, here is a suggestion, if they are calling your cell phone, or your home has a contacts list, add the number and add the name SCAMMER DNA - then I know not to answer that call.  Eventually they will get tired of calling a number that they never get a answer on.  If it is a number I do not know, I check here for updates.  You can also register your numbers with the National Do Not Call Registry.

called them back and asked for their business name, told some made up company and kept asking for my number to verify my account.  I ask again for their business name and what they do - She stated "I cannot give you any information to protect your privacy, so may I please have your number..."  I stated whose privacy mine or yours?  she would not tell anything until I gave her my information - again I stated this is my privacy and I need to know who you are...

She hung up on me....

This is not legit....

They keep calling me too, threatening to open an investigation against me with my neighbors andmy employer. It's always a guy with an accent that sounds Indian or Pakistani. They tell me they are a law firm who represents a "parent company" for  an unsecured debt, but will not identify the debt. They gave me the name of a payday loan company, and said that they are the parent company of the lender. They can't provide any information about an original amount (because I never took aloan from the company they claim to represent). I have looked up every name they have given me, in every Bar Association for every website, for every state they have told me they work in. Not one state they said they work in has a registered, active memberof the  Bar with any of the names they have given me. When I ask them for a license number, they tell me that they are a new firm and don't have that, yet. One guy who called even threatened to call the sheriff on me if I did not pay. They wanted me to load a pre-paid  credit card and give them the card number, so they could take the funds.

When I asked for an address, twice they gave me a false address, and actually gave me the address of a legitimate law firm in Texas (whom I notified of the scam). The phone number has an area code that originates in Washington State, but they claim to be lawyers in Texas and California as well as whatever state you tell them youa re in.  

When I told them they have to provide proof of the debt before I send them anything, they told me it doesn't work that way (which alone proves they are scammers, because any legitimate debt collector would know the due process, and that they have to provide you with the amount of the debt along with the original lender.)

Do NOT give these people money. They are comitting fraud. I called the FBI, their phone service provider (AT&T) and filed a complaint wiht the FTC. I urge you to do the same. These people only get investigated if the FTC finds a pattern. PLEASE contact them and report the calls.

These people have obtained my social as well as phone numbers and stating that I must send them money or they will press criminal charges me. But will not give any info on who I ever obtained money from or what company this so called law phone represents
I asked for an address as well as a FAX number and they would not give out a address and gave me a false number for a FAX number.

They just called my phone and work phone several times. He left a vm saying he worked for Davis Law Firm and I needed to contact him. I am not calling these people back and when I do decide to answer the phone from all the phone calls they make, I will curse them out. The dude doesnt even speak English, so until you learn how, dont call me trying to scare me with this bs. I have heard it before and will tell them to do what they have to do if necessary, and kiss my a** in the process!  GET YOUR LIFE PEOPLE!

These people are calling me saying I am going to be arrested that I better get a lawyer that I owe pay day loans I have never taken out I am so sick of them calling me

These scum buckets have been calling every day now for a week and. Iwas getting tired of it and finally snapped , istarted calling them back on my day, off and use all sort of profanity when they answer and let them complain about me harrassing them and not being proffesiona. And if I vet voicemail they get to hear rush limbaugh for about a half hour or so just to tie, up - there phone they finnaly told me they would stop calling if I stopped calling them

They called me and said they were lawyers. And when I refused to pay. They call my job now none stop. And my coworkers are getting mad at it.

this number has gotten wat out of line; telling me that i must pay 3,550 or i wiil be arrested at home or my work place&i will spend the holidays behind bars. Like who are these people&why are they hungry for money. I will be reported them first thing tomorrow morning-

I received several voicemails from this number. The caller claimed to be from a law firm on behalf of a bogus company that I never had any interactions with. When I called back to discuss the reason for the call, the man was very rude, until I had to control the call and asked to never be contacted again.

I have gotten fed up with these jerks. I have been to my Local police department, Filed a complaint with the FTC, I have also contacted the FBI. The FBI gave me a website to go to to fill out a complaint against these jerks. The website is www.ic3.gov. They said if they get enough complaints they will open an investigation on the situation. So come on guys all of you complain on that website too! Lets get these Jerks.

These people have called me numerous times. I am Fed up with them. I went to my local Sherriffs department yesterday. They really can't do much. The people that call have very heavy accents. They talked about 3 civil suits against me and my ss#. They can not or won't tell me an amount that is owed nor will they tell me to whom the amount is owed. I just want them to leave me the heck alone!

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Caller sounds Indian or Pakastani. Says his name is Anthony Davis from Davis Law Firm, 202 Pennsylvania Ave, Vancouver, WA 98660. Says money is owed to United Cash Advance (lender does NOT show on credit report, lender has no records of an account). He threatened to have law enforcement agencies come and arrest. The number he called from (and answers) is (360) 975-3696. The scary thing is, he had my social security number.

and I am going to be in trouble for not paying a debt could not give me the name of the company and said things were send to me paperwork I never recieved. this is nuts I mentioned the fair debt and collection act and sending the docs by mail but he just ignored that saying it was done do I wish to resolve this  and I said again it has to be provided in writing and hung up nicely.

I got a phone call today from attorney anthony davis saying that I owed a secure loan. I asked him why I haven't heard anything bout this until now and he said that all letters that were sent to my address were returned to sender. DO NOT BELIEVE HIS LIES! THIS IS A SCAM! I called my local police department bc he had all of my personal information and the police officer I talked to is calling the number that he called me from! No matter what he says don't believe him and call ur local police department!
