I received this message today.  Why don't the Feds arrest these people?  Crazy!

Just received this scammer e-mail today. I've talked to this fool before. If we have won anything the UN should have notified us by certified registered mail.

I got a call saying I won 2.5 million.  I have to send the 400 dollars to get it delivered

I have received this same email now twice in the last two months. I emailed them back just to see what they had to say. My first was from David Moore and then a lady named Sandy and in response I received an email from David Moore again. Please do not give out any personal info to these fools. This is a major scam coming from out of parts of Canada which also sends out checks to people telling them to deposit it in their bank accounts and then call for info. They want you to go buy a money order send it via western union then call them for you next assignment which is to go and by another money order at a different location call them for your last assignment which is go by something and then in the end you have made 350.00. This also is a major scam. Do not deposit.

THIS IS A SCAM DONT GIVE OUT ANY OF YOUR INFO TO THESE PPL!!!!

It's nothing but a SCAM. I get these emails all the time.

I received an email from David Moore <davidmooore2012@gmail.com> on December 14, 2012 @ 7;08 AM, claiming to be a "Payment Officer to the UN/WORLD BANK COMPENSATION UNIT, USA requesting I forward the following information.  Full Names, Correct Mailing Address, Direct Phone Number and Occupation for confirmation and the processing of my payment file.

I furnished the above information via E-Mail on Friday, December 14, 2012 5:05 PM.

I have both original E-Mails in my possession .

I received this email in my inbox this morning.  I know this is bogus because:

1) I typically don't give out my email address.  

2) If legit, the goverment would have announced something on the news & THEN
recipients would receive some sort of official notice via US Postal Service.  

3) The email suffix:  UTHSCSA.edu is tied to the University of Texas Health Science
Center at San Antonio.  Their area code is 210, NOT 360.

4) The UN would have a goverment type of email address, NOT blumail.org which is a site
you can obtain FREE email addresses & the email we are supposed to contact when replying....
