I got a call for the same thing.  They gave me closer number but I still got calls.

They called me this morning too, I was beyond furious when I was talking to him because this same company called me awhile ago too and I said I don't remember an account but I want to cancel because I have never once received anything from them ever! He said you can't cancel but he will waive all my overdue fees if I pay 41.90. I told him I thought this was a scam and he wasn't getting a dime, where after he told me that I'm a scam!! Wow really professional and mature, that's how I know 100% that this is not a real business. I have never been talked to before like that by a professional company. If anyone knows of where to report this please let me know!

This company calls me periodically giving me the magazine subscription pitch.  Says I have a balance of $300 some odd dollars and will be sent to collections.  They call me every 4-6 months saying the same thing.  When I ask questions of where they are located and who they work for they begin getting hostile and hang up.  WHY CAN'T SOMEONE FIGURE OUT WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE AND STOP THEM??

I just received a phone call from (385) 218-6696. They told me I had to pay $41.90 on magazines I never received nor signed up for. I asked what CC they had on file that I supposedly used last year and it was a card I haven't used in 6 years, they threatened to not cancel the subscription until I paid WTF and that if I didn't pay they were going to send it to a creditor I told the lady good luck with that because I have perfect credit and would counter sue for harassment. SHE hung up on me. I'm glad I googled the number and see that its a scam and I'm not the only victim.  DO NOT GIVE IN TO THOSE PLACES THEY TRY TO BACK YOU INTO A CORNER BUT STAND UP AND FIGHT BACK!!

We were scammed by that magazine company about 9 months ago, and disputed the charges on our credit card, successfully getting them cancelled. The other day we were called by this number saying we still owed $89 for these magazines that we never wanted and "cancelled" within the appropriate time. We have no proof that we cancelled because they say we would have a confirmation number, and yet we have in our call records that my husband called during business hours, and he remembers the conversation where they said he didn't need to do anything else. Well they insist without a confirmation number we don't have a leg to stand on and they will be sending it to collections unless we pay the outstanding balance or a $41.90 cancellation fee. We have been getting the magazines - which we don't want - so we decided we should just pay the amount to cancel. The lady on the phone said she would call back in a couple hours (after I talked to my husband) and gave me a number to reach her. She didn't call back, and when I attempted to call her, the number always went to a full mail box. It's obvious that this company is not honest, but we don't want to have to get a lawyer to fight these people that insist that we have no proof of cancelling.  Does this scamming company really have a legal leg against us?  Should we be worried about the outstanding balance going into collections?

I am trying to figure out how to block this number cause they keep asking me about magazines i ordered.  I ordered no magazines.

They call  me daily telling me I ordered magazines and gave me the first four digets of my Card but I am not sure how they got that. I just over dealing with these people and can not figure out how to stop them from calling me

this number called and said that they wanted to send me an invite to a Marriot business meeting for small businesses.  they asked for my email address to send tickets to event.  I now this was a scam.  i will be calling my bank immediately.

On Jan.7, 2014, my husband answered the phone and black male voice asked for Nettie.  I answered and he did not identify himself.  He claimed he was checking to see if I receiving my magazines.  I told him that I wasn't receiving any magazines and asked him his name. He hung up on me.

Called stated that I had ordered magazines and had been receiving them, when I haven't.  Stated that I gave my cc to them and when I asked them what the last 4 digits on the card where they gave me the ones they have "on file".  I do not have a credit card with those #'s they said it was a promotion I signed up for in November of 2011.  This is now 2013.  I DO NOT GIVE out my credit card number to anyone via internet or over the phone.  I ended up having to hang up on the person on the line.

I have put multiple blocks on this number and other numbers they use. They ask for veronica, when I tell them I am not her they insist im lying. They tell me she worked there,  supposedly a massage parlor, veronica has been missing. I've tried reasoning with them and they act like its a joke. Odd thing is that they haven't asked for money or that I owe them anything.

I got a phone call just a little bit ago and the lady was beyond rude to me! She also told me that I had owed 41.90 and that if I didn't pay it that the amount would go to collections. I have received a bunch of magazines the past year or so & have had no clue why I was even getting them. She told me that I had signed up for them and that they had my visa number and that I was the one who allowed it and gave it to them. I know I have an ex who I have had a lot of trouble financially with now but I couldn't even get a hold of the person when I tried to call back. What the hell is this thing??? She was a exceptionally rude person..

Rachel, if you did not authorize the charge to your card, please go to your bank and dispute the charge or dispute in writing if the charge is to a credit card.

If you did, try to contact the company's customer service center. If you can not contact them , explain to your bank what is going on. They may have options available to prevent the company from making further charges.

they are charging me 41.90. how do i cancel this? how to i talk to a real person about this?

Got a call from this number.asking for 41.90 - I did not make a verbal contract with anyone on getting magazines. They called my WORK phone.  I never talk to magazine subc on my work phone, so I know for sure now that it was completely a scam.  

I received a phone call from this company this morning saying that I subscribe 3 magazines.. I do NOT subscribe to magazines I feel it is a waste of my hard earned money. The address they had on file I have not lived at for 3 years and they said they had my cc on file.. I told them really thats weird because I never received any magazines let alone subscribed I told her to cancel the account..She told me they would not allow me to cancel until I paid and brought the account current $41.90.. I told her I was not paying for a service I had not been receiving and asked her for a mailing address so I could send it a formal complaint and to cancel my subscription.. She refused so I asked her for a supervisor which she told me that the supervisor would tell me the same thing..  I than told her she is required by law to provide me with a mailing address so I can send them a letter. After she argued with me SHE finally hung up.

literally was playing stupid with them and hung up bc i knew it was a scam.  they literally kept trying to call me back for 12 minutes, non stop phone ringing.  

Very rude, threatening messages left.

got a call today and a few days ago from this number saying I had subscriptions and that my cc on file had expired and that I owe $41.90/month and that I have over $1000 due and they were going to send it to collections and that I got a  $100 gift certificate that was activated Jan 2012 never received any certificate, not activated it, and don't have any magazines delivered to me. don't know who to contact to report them....

Exact same thing happened to me

called saying they were a supervisor with Score Marketing magazines. said i had a debt and that i had started the subscription in jan of 2011. never had a mag sub. never recieved anything. have been called multiple times by that company. always from different numbers. lady said that the bill would go to a third party collector if i didnt pay. asked to cancel (again i might add) and she insists that it cannot be cancelled. told her that i would just wait and see what happened if i didnt pay. she kept threatening with bill collectors. i hung up. called back right afterwards and the line said that the extension (there isnt an extension btw) was busy. its a scam.

called asking for someone else in my house and when I said they are not availbale they started making nasty comments and asking how old I am and being perverted. when I called the number back it said the number was disconnected.
