I got the same one on 12/27 from ashlyndeshotels2006@yahoo.com.  Scam.

The same thing happened to me today. Said from aslyndeshotels2006@yahoo.com  thought I would look up number since out of area.  Crazy

Got a text from this #, claiming to be Ashlyn Deshotels. Found another thread with different number using this name, exact wording. I am a Mary Kay consultant and get these texts from time to time. Usually includes story about being a deaf consumer. I can do sign language and it is on my profile, so I usually ask to meet in person. But whenever the customer suggests a weird way of paying for the transaction, it is a scam. Of interest, Ashlyn Deshotels comes up in linked-in as an Avon rep.

Anytime you get a message with weird wording, it is a fraud. Sometimes they will say someone will pick it up with a check written for more than the amount and for you to give that person the difference with the product. You guessed it... Bad check. This scam has been going on for years. Delete any emails or texts and don't encourage them by answering back.

I also got a text from the same number from Alison Barnes saying she had been looking at my Mary Kay store online and wanted to purchase several items, asked me to contact her.

I rec'd the same text message after getting an email to my MK website using a different email address and reason for wanting to buy.  I am going to respond that I only sell to zip codes within my area.

I also just received the same text, I responded "who's this", I have not bottom a response back yet. I'm glad I checked.

Received the same message this morning at 11am Arizona time, using the email robbiewooten67@yahoo.com, now at 1pm received another text from the same number with the following text "??" as if they are waiting for me to respond. I have sent the screen shot to my MK director.

received same message about providing a list of products.  they texted very early today with a .... only.

I just got a text as well. I asked where they are from. I have heard nothing.

I too just got a text message about being at my Mary Kay online store? I am a registered Mary Kay rep and I do have an online store, so I texted back asking if they had registered on my site so that I could contact them and go over their order. They texted back saying they would like to have me help them. I did not leave my last name with the text, and have not received any notice of a new customer from MK either? Yes very strange? Will update if I hear more.

I got a text of the same message that took 3 separate messages to get it all said  this morning at 5:17AM eastern time.  I agree, it is weird.

Got a text saying had been through my "Marykay store online" and would I kindly get back in touch with alisonbarnes148@yahoo.com so "i can provide you with the list of the product i will like to order from you Happy Sunday to you!"  Weird wording and punctuation.
