Got a text from this number with my name in it, and the reply after I asked who it was happened to be a suggestion for yahoo messanger. What a scam

Got an unwanted text from this number and no one would reply.

Just got a text from this number.  I asked "who is this?"  They texted back and said "haha if you want to know who this is u got to add me on Y! msnger, my name is textflirter396".  I just deleted the texts.

I had the same happen to me as others have stated.On 11/7/2012 at approximately 6:54 pm (cst) the text said: "hello (my name)??? I texted back asking who they were also, but never got a reply. My wife called the number today and it was a recorded message saying you have reaced someone's text number.

Tighten up the security on your accounts and don't click unknown links.  If they've told you their Yahoo ID, report it to Yahoo abuse.

Got a text that said "Hello Larry!).   then a follow up that said if i wanted to know who it was i had to add them to yahoo msger and they gave me their id.

I got a text that said "hey <My Name>" and that was all.

I got the same thing on November 7, 2012. "Hola Chad??" I asked who it was and never got a reply.

I wonder if it's some kind of automated system loaded with a call list that someone configured just to annoy people.

I got one with my name on it as well. Any ideas?

I got one that said "Hola Stephen". I actually think I know who Jerry is haha.

I received a text from this number. It said "Hola Jerry". That was all.
