Some guy from Daytona BeachFlorida calling my cell saying I won a trip to DisneyWorld. Blah, Blah...  The same exact number called two friends of mine, saying a cruise to the Bahamas. Total scam - they'll ask for your credit card number after they get you all excited with a fake win. Totally lame. Just trying to rip you off. I caught him at the game and he didn't like it. He hung up on me after I asked him to take my number off his list immediately. Losers.

Got a call twice from this number today. First time I wasn't able to answer, second time I answered, got a name, also saying from Daytona Beach Florida. Said I won a cruise somewhere, and that I signed up in Vancouver. I have never been to Vancouver in my life!!!! I cut him off and said "let me guess you need my credit card number" his reply was "oh have you already been called?" and I just said no, but I know about the scam. He said "this is NOT a scam" and I hung up.

I got a call this moring from this number.  It's the second time they have called.  I'm assuming, from the other two posts here, I have won a trip or something.  Why can't these people get a life!

Got a call last night about winning a trip to Disney world for two.  Now I did fill out a ballot but it was for four people.  Found that fishy and then he was asking for my credit card.  Told him that if I won a trip, that he should not need my card as I would not be paying for anything if I did win.  He hung up.  Been calling my friends to warn them as they filled out ballots as well.  Thanks for this website.  I appreciate it.

Just received this call saying I entered the draw at the Calgary Women's Show. I was there so listened. He asked if I was standing up or sitting down. I said "sitting down." He then said I won a trip and that I was being tape recorded. Immediatly after he asked if I used Visa, MC or AMEX. I asked him why he needed that info. He said in case I have phone calls, etc at the resort. I hung up after that.

They just called me from some travel agency saying you won a trip that costs 249 per person.  I am guessing you have to go listen to time share speeches.... so well if you can suffer through those terrible pitches it might be worth it.

I just got the call as well from phish show.  So it is a scam?  Has anyone paid and gone through with it. If so what happened? They are calling me back tomorrow to put us both on the air.  I looked at the website, and feels wrong.  Go with my intuition or go for the prize?

Same exact scam happened to me, but I entered the 'contest' at Phish Festival 8...can't believe the venue/promoters/whatever would associate with such scum. The guy calls you and says you are 'on the air' (LOL) and just won the drawing, then the same BS about the processing fee and sales presentations. I don't mind if some dumbass company wants to do this to make money...there are plenty of stupid and/or broke people who would probably go for a 'vacation' such as this. But why the lies? Talk about a load of ****. If these ***holes call you, tell them to **** off.

Got the same call from "Amazon Travel Club". I went to the Las Vegas Renaissance Festival and entered my name in a drawing. Their representatives are very pushy in offering you something that you "won" in a drawing. If you visit http://aimlesstom.wordpress.com/2009/09/17/almost-scammed/ you can read other people's experiences.

Called stating that I had won a free vacation by signing up at a local fair. Said that it was free and worth over $4000. But at the end said that I had to pay the processing fees of $249/per person (trip was for 2 people). Caller (Barry) stated that I had to give my credit card information right then, that I couldn't call back or be called back. Their website didn't really have any information on it about the company.
