This person wanted to sell me an extended warrenty on my new 07 truck.
they call every day I finally talked to a live person and he wanted info on my truck I asked him to take us off of his calling list and he hung up on me.
I got another call the next morning on my answering machine which left half a message. When I called this number from caller I.D. it said this number was out of order and no longer in service.
They should be fined or something.

When I researched this number online through a reverse number lookup I found this info on the number, I am on the do not call list and I will report this.
Maybe if everyone reported these types of callers and pressed the legal issues
we could get put them in their place.

Receiving numerous calls from 386 437 4750 advised them my number is a do not call #. They responded they have 97 different call centers and I would have to notify each one if I wanted my number removed. Obviously a scam that the FTC needs to respond to.

I got a call from this 'number' as well, 386-437-4750, and got the same BS runaround about my vehicles warranty having expired. I asked to speak to someone about my 'account', but the guy was evasive saying he just needed me to 'verify' a few details, like fill in all the blanks for him. I asked him if I had a warranty, then put me in touch with the person that had my file or a supervisor. While I was on with him I googled "Warranty Division" which was the only name he would give me for his 'company', which brought up links like this one.
I smell scam all over this. Don't give these people any info. I know I don't have any 'extended warranty' that I just forgot I'd purchased. I don't know what they are up to, but at best it's to try to sell you some sort of worthless warranty or worse.
Just hang up on them.

I just got a call from 386-437-4750. The caller ID said "Unknown Name". I guess that means some dude named Unknown Name called me. Mr. Name hung up as soon as the answering machine answered. I immediately called back the number and got a recording saying the number has been disconnected. I guess that means that just after the end of his call to me, Mr. Name's number got disconnected for non-payment of his bill. Correct?
I think we should organize a collection and help Mr. Name with his phone bill. Call me at 1-800-horsesht to make payment arrangements. You'll be glad you did.

Automated call that stated that this was the last chance to extend my vehicle's auto warranty.
I pressed "1" to speak to a live operator.
I asked the operator what vehicle they were calling about. I was told it was my most recent vehicle. I also was told since it had already had an expired warranty the vehicle information was not in the database for my security. I was then asked to give them my vehicle's VIN #
They new my name, phone # and address which could be found in any phone book but may mislead others that it is a legitimate call.
I asked the name of the company and was told it was "Warranty Division Center"
I asked where it was located and I was told Florida but that she was in the Atlanta Call center. I asked for her address and she said she did not know it. I then asked for a supervisor and she put me on hold before I was disconnected.
I would suggest avoiding doing business with this company and not providing any information about you.

I answered - they put me on hold to speak to a live person. It was regarding my vehicle. They asked me name. ??? He called out the wrong name, then got it right. Then went on to discuss the warranty that expired on my vehicle. Then asked for my VIN#. This guy was a complete jack*** to think I was giving him any more info. Clearly a scam of sorts.

A machine began talking about something to do with our automobile warranty expiring. We hung up without ever trying to talk with a live person.Caller ID showed 1-386-437-4750.

so may calls from this number, in just one day. It does no good to press any numbers, they just call back next time computer hits your number again, no matter the time, day or nite.

Answered call to recorded message indicating car warranty was expiring or going to be reclassified or something like that, that they had tried numerous times to reach us (not so), and that something would happen automatically now that they couldn't get through. I had the option of pressing 1, so I did, and got an agent calling from a VERY noisy call center. I asked who was calling, and she said "the warranty center." I asked what car she was calling about, and she said "the most recent one purchased." I told her that if she couldn't name the company or the car, there was no way I believed this was a legitimate call. She said just a moment, then clicked off.
| bhjunkmail 2011-06-06 20:46:54 Unknown |
same story. I pushed '1', asked the woman what company; sounded like "Worldwide Warranty", then "Warranty Service". She hung up when I told her since they wouldn't stop calling, I'd just talk to them each time they call (i.e. waste their time)

Yes, we got a call from that number this evening, and I said hello about 4 times, but no one answered. Probably should have stayed on longer so that I could have heard the recording you all talked about and got on the do not call list.
