A man with a foriegn accent told my wife he had "received our loan application", that we never sent, and was ready to process our loan.  When she said we hadn't applied for any loans he started probing for other types of personal information.  This is an obvious identity theft attempt.  The number is untraceable through any reverse lookups as would be expected from a criminal enterprise.

go a call from this number 3918415142, he had a foriegn accent, ask for my husband and used his full name.  i told him i was john, and he said are you sure this is john.  i said yes, what do you want...he kept repeating he wanted to talk to my husband...i kept for three times saying what do you want....he got mad and said F....Y...and hung up...this message came in about 10 minutes ago...sounded like a man from India....i called this number back and it had been disconnected or no longer in service.....It was a Verizon number....

keeps calling says about an auto loan, ?, looking for jamie, uses profanity, "foreign" accent, indian [like india] I think, so some variant of hindi. Mentioned Dunkirk NY? strange, been there many times years ago.  My number is everywhere so it is impossible to know how they got it.

Does anybody else getting calls from this phone number?

I have received two calls from these people and went to the National Do Not Call Registry website, located at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx  and filed a complaint.  You can file a complaint if your phone number has been on the registry for 31 days.  I'm hoping they can stop these people from harassing and possibly taking advantage anyone.

Some one called me from this number, but when I call it back, the automated voice says I must first dial an area code followed by the 7 digit phone number, so how can 391 not be an area code if someone just called me from that number. When I put a 1 in front of the number when dialing it, the automated voice says my call cannot be completed as dialed. Where is this number coming from???

A guy called me from this number and said i was approved for a car loan. Told him I havent applied from a car loan and he hung up on me....Creepy

We just received a call, also, but didn't pick up.  I wonder if it is a prank call, given the nature of the other calls that were reported here.

Called and said i applied for auto loan, when I told him I didn't he starting cursing at me for no reason. At first I was shocked and asked if he was speaking to me. He informed me that he was and i quickly hung up on him. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I am in the process of putting fraud alert on the 3 major credit bureasu as I do not know where he got my information. Expect this company is a SCAM!

we did apply for a payday loan and right when we did we got called 3 times and the first time my husband said nothing he was like hi then he just hung up then he called again and my husband cursed him out then he called again just to say FU Eric T..... Bit..       ... it was quite funny and it happen just like it happen to everyone else ...

Foreign speaking male asking about my application for auto loan.  I became angry after trying to explain I had not applied and he said he would refer to his atty and I said I welcomed that as I had my atty as well.  The above comments confirms they are crooks and should be repotrted to no-call list.

i think it has to do with a payday loan also I just applied for a payday loan with 1 company within 2 minuts wile I am still on the computer I get a call from this number saying I applied for an atuo loan/ and a got mad when I told them no I had not/ its going on my blocked number list

These people called me for 3 hours straight so I finally answered and They said they recieved my autoloan application. I hadent filled one out so I said take me off your list! He then asked "Stephen, are you retarded? You dont even know why this phone call is made. Im not going to tell you now, good bye." LIKE WTF!!!

weird phone call from a foreign guy, then another came up unavailable and kept saying hello like ten times and the same guys voice came on-hung up on both.

3 calls since 8:00 this am ... The caller must have hung up after he said he was calling for an auto loan.

Someone called me from this number and i didn't pick up.  I don't pick up my phone unless i know who it is.

this arab guy keeps calling ,says my name and then hangs up.

Yeah its some auto loan company. I said I didn't want one and they hung up before I could say I wanted off the list.

I have no idea who this is, but when I call it back it tells me that it is not a working number.  I suspect it has something to do with a payday loan.
