You have to have the type of phone service which will allow you to sort calls in some way.  I have the phone from my cable provider and there is a webpage where I can reject calls or get a special ring which notifies me it is a call I do not want to answer.

Got the call.  Didn't answer.  Once again, my policy of never answering calls from unfamiliar numbers pays off.  If it's important, they can leave a message.  They didn't.

Caller did not leave a message.  Thanks for tipping me off as to who the caller is.  I have already blocked dozens of calls from "Google" companies promoting Search Engine Optimization and Online Advertising.  The National DO NOT CALL Registry does not slow these companies down one bit.

Can anyone tell me what the National DO NOT CALL Registry is doing to stop the robo spam calls?  This government department also appears to be a major taxpayer scam.

Yes, my numbers are on the do not call list and I'm getting these calls everyday.  This one something about my oweing taxes,which I don't!!!  What is the point of calling people and hanging up which they did when I questioned them.

Got a recorded message from someone claiming to represent Google.  I am on the do not call list, but that is a joke.

Called about 1:30 PM today (Monday).  Did not recognize number on caller ID.  Rang 7 or 8 times.  DNC Register is not working!

Robo-call, presumably from SEO or some form of mild scam, since it's promising first-page placement on Google. (Search for our company name, and we already have that. Bets on whether these people are offering more?)

Same as everyone else. Perky robo guy telling me my business can be on the first page of Google, that's right,  the FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE!

They call all the time with different phone numbers spoofed on the CID.

No company name mentioned. No information given other than what everyone else has said.

Nothing works to get rid of them. Can't stop answering the phone. Can only hang up on them.

Got a call today from this number - no sound on the other end.

They called my home (there has not been a business at our number in over ten years).  I pressed 1, and when the guy came on I immediately said that I wanted to know who he was so I could report him for a FTC Do Not Call violation. He takes on this mocking voice and said "oh no, I don't want to go back to jail."  I kept asking for a name, and he kept asking who I was.  He finally hung up after a minute or so. Can't wait for them to call back.

Not only did they call my office, they called my house within 10 min of each other.  Dead Air on both calls ...... they must have bought a list ..........

First on Google b.s.  I've had a minimum of 200-250 calls and emails to be first on Google. Half claim they have something no one else has.

Keeps calling us with a robocall. This time they wouldn't release the phone line when I tried to hang up. I asked to be removed from their list and they hung up.

Go to the FCC website to report. They will respond and collect the info. regarding these calls. When they collect a certain number (don't know what that number is) of complaints, they may take action. All of my numbers are on the DNC list (which doesn't seem to deter these calls) but our only hope seems to be to constantly report these calls....squeeky wheel syndrome! Good Luck!

I also got a call from (401) 216-9301 this morning to my business # resulting in "dead air" so I hung up. I have to answer since I get calls from all over the country (U-Haul & self storage).

4/10/12 - Get the call with the bouncy lady's voice talking about getting on the first page of Google's results. No option to opt out, but repeatedly told to press 1 for more information. I press 1 as I am very, very sick of getting these calls at work. "Parker" receives my call and I ask him to take us off the call list. He starts asking annoying questions such as are we too busy to take on more business, etc. etc. etc. I reassert I want to be removed from the call list. He asks if I'm an owner. No, I'm the owner's daughter and he doesn't want to be bothered. He claims he will get us off the call list and the call finally ends.

4/11/12 - Chirpy "Press 1 Now" lady calls again. I press 1. "Parker" gets the call again! I remind him I asked the day before to take us off the call list and he apologizes and starts in on the same stupid questions. This call doesn't last nearly as long.

4/12/12 - Yet again get the phone call from the much to peppy woman whose favorite phrase is "Press 1 Now!" Guess who picks up when I do? Yep, Parker again. I tell Parker this is the 3rd day in a row I've pressed 1 to tell him to stop calling here, and I will not waste my time with his annoying questions. So he says he understands my frustration, but what kind of questions do I find annoying? I said, "I don't know, questions like that one maybe?" I tell him stop the calls, stop them now. I don't have time for this and hang up.

The phone IMMEDIATELY rings again. This time it's a man's voice singing the praises of this "new" advertising online that we can get in on the ground floor! It's Google, of course! I press 1. It's PARKER AGAIN. I said, "Hi, Parker! That's real cute. I JUST told you to stop calling here and immediately the phone rings with a different voice and lead in message, but it's still you on the other end." He says sorry and hangs up.

This had BETTER stop!

Called my business phone while I was out and left a partial message about putting my business on the first page of Google.  No thanks.

I just reported them to the No Call List.  Maybe that helps.......

Robocaller; Attention Business Owners

Google local scam.  They keep saying they will take me off their list but somehow they keep calling me from all over the country.  Looks like this is today's outbound #.

how do you put someone on a reject list I'm getting calls from this number all the time

Hang-up scam artist...google this or that. Don't talk to  these people or answer ads.

They called me to. I wish there was a way to irritate them as much as they do us.
