Caller ID'd as Union Fruit Market. I never picked up the phone but from what I can see here SCAM!!!!!

Yeah, do you really think that they care and would actually remove your number.  They already don't care about the fact of using illegal methods to try and forward their business and also get a hold of your numbers in the first place.  These people have no spine, no ethics, no honor what so ever, and it gives a lot of legitimate business that do operate over the phone waves a bad rap.

Yep I got a call from this number, but instead of answering it and burning my minutes i just rejected the call.  Do these people seriously have no life, and have stooped down to the lowest possible manner of a carbon based life form that they can't get a REAL job instead of scamming people.

Called me today at 12:25pm, didn't answer.  I never respond to telemarketing of any kind, but something called "TAX DEFENSE" is clearly a scam.

I have talked with HHS and will file a written complaint that my medical privacy may have been violated.16082373154 back pain relief hung up on me after inquiry as to name, location, and how my name added.

It's a SCAM.

Received a call from 401-365-6294 at my cellular.  As the caller ID was "Unknown", I didn't answer.

Got a call from this unknown company for unknown reason - a disturbance.

I just got a call from this number said hello - no answer.  Most of us have Cell phones (Smart phones to be exact) I created a "Stupid People" contact and when I get calls like this I save it under that contact and the contact card is set to go directly to voicemail.  It will still registar as a miss call, but at least my phone doesn't ring all the time :)

Robo call regarding mortgage refi - cannot get a "live" person.  This was a call to a business, left them a message that they will be reported as tele-spam

I am so tired of receiving calls such as this I rarely answer the phone.  I have been on the do not call list for several years.  Doesn't help at all.  What does one do????????

Got our first call from the latest senior citizen scamming criminals.

We know no one in that area and have no business contacts.

We need a bounty system to rid the country of t hese parasites.

No one answered so I guess they are just trying to get someones  identity...

I put them on the rejected list and then watch them call me 15 in one  minute

People why don't you have a phone ID and if you don't recognize the number, simply do not answer. I never do. If it calls me on my home phone I simply ignore it and after 3 rings it stops. Now if it calls your cell phone then there are plenty of apps that can block numbers. Easy as pie.

This number called my house a few moments ago.  It is a company offering assistance with mortgage loan modifications.  It sounds as if the number is used for various scams.  I have filed a complaint with the FTC and Indiana Attorney Generals Office for phishing becuase they ask you to leave your name and information including your lender.
Robocalls from this number should be reported immediately.

I have no late taxes, these people are scammers. I don't call them back, just let my answering machine get it and I delete it when it comes in. 401-365-6294 comes in as "Tax Defense". Another number that comes in as Tax Defense is 603-856-0995. They keep changing their caller ID information too. I  have one number that calls so many times, once it was 602-797-2700 "knowledgement", then the next time they called it was 602-797-2700 "training consor".

Every day I have about 30-40 calls from different companies on my cell phone!!!!
I would like to know how they know our private cell phone number and I think they take our information when we put our phone number on Internet dating or sales site. Now I know what I have to do.I will record any calls from this number and than put a case against this company.It is very easy for me, because I am a criminal lawyer and I will talk with this company in the court house.

I believe you misunderstood the post.  The poster was warning about using a company that was supposed to help her reduce her debt or reorganize her debt, but all they did was take her money and do nothing for her.  That is her complaint.  Then she says she had to pay her debts anyway - which I interpret to mean that here she is struggling to pay her debts, but she ends up getting scammed by a company she hires who is supposed to help her reorganize her debt and make her life better, but they don't help her and she has to pay her debts anyway.  I did not get the impression she was trying to avoid paying her debts.  

Take a big deep breath - and reread the post.  Maybe you'll see it the way I did.  Maybe you won't.  Maybe you'll just feel better because you took a big deep breath and got more oxygen in your system.  In any event, you got a free second opinion.R3

Don't hit #1 - this will simply tell them that your number is an actual personal number with a person who can be scammed on the other end.

Keeps calling my husband's phone (he's in the road).  I call it back but I can't put his number in there.

Apparently an auto-dial call, as no human being ever spoke and it hung up after a bit. Pity -- if someone had tried to give me a "back taxes" spiel, I would have asked why they were identifying as a fruit vendor.

I hit 1 and all of a sudden started getting these calls one after another I do not now answere any unknown numbers now
