This call was from a market research team wanting to know whom I was supporting for the Democratic primary run for State Senator.  Told her this was the 3rd call from them and that my answer was given on the 1st call.  She apologized.

received a call from this number too, caller id just said Providence, RI, did not answer call, they left no message

I got two of these calls tonight...I too like some of you have friends in RI and knew the area code...but I knew it was not their number. Why can't the phone companies do something about these calls? I am sick of unwanted phone calls too - thank heavens for caller ID...but sometimes we have been fooled.....

Got a call from the same number--rang four times.  Didn't leave msg.  Caller ID read "Unknown Name."

i've been getting calls from this no. for weeks now.  I haven't answered yet, and don't intend to!

I answered by saying "Hello." Idiot on other end then came on and said "Hello." I replied "That's what I said!" He hung up. Good riddance.

Just got a call from this number. Said Providence, RI. Didn't answer but thought I'd wait for someone to leave a message, but it only rang three times and then they hung up. I DO have Comcast, so maybe it was them. If they left a message and said they were doing a Comcast survey, I might actually call them back. But if they're just going to hang up and use a number that you can't call back, I think that's SLEAZY.

I believe this number belongs to a market research company doing surveys for Comcast and others.  If you return the call you are likely to get a voice mailbox that is usually not attended so always full.

I called that number back & got the same "box full" message.

So i called the number back & hacked the voicemail I cleared all the messages except the really good ones.

they called my cell phone! i called back got nothing at all!

just got a call from this number at 8:46 EDT on 4/6/10. Didn't pick it up.

I just recieved a call, thought it was my boyfriend from RI But no one answered me and when I called back I got a voicemail that cannot recieve more messages!!!

To get them to stop calling set up your fax machine to call them 24-7. they will never call again because there line will be busy for ever with fax calls.

Got a call tonight at supper.  Phone was silent then clicked through and went silent again.  I finally hung up.  Am on do not call list - ??? Who are these creeps?

they called me around 8:39PM on 12/2/09.  Didnt leave a message.  I tried to call them back (thought it was a friend from RI) and had a message from the phone company that I could not get thru.

These creeps have a way of hanging up that causes a loud buzzing sound on your answering machine. It doesn't get recorded, but it does prevent me from hearing what I want to listen to.
