This caller was telling me that my credit cards are at risk. They want to lower my rates. I don't have cards and I will never have a credit card. Anyway, My phone number is on the National Do Not Call list and these people are still calling.

Sick and tired of receiving calls from this number. We are on the National Do not call registry. This is harrassment.

Everyday it's two calls from this number. When I answer it is dead air and the call ends. I have called back and "removed my number from their list" five times. Still receiving calls and will file a complaint with the authorities.

Recording says they want to lower my interest rates on credit cards.
Probably a scam.

Peggy, unfortunately the BBB will not be able to help you. You need to file a complaint with the FCC/DNC registry @ http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
It is frustrating as all hell but I have filed a few complaints (for different numbers) and they have stopped calling. The FCC does take this very serious as it is a federal offense to call someone who is listed on the DNC registry. The form only takes a few minutes and its all done online. The FCC will send you a paper mail (yeah it still exists lol) notifying you that they are taking this seriously and a copy of your complaint. You can list each phone number that is affliated with the problem callers as well.
Good Luck and I hope this helps you and everyone out =)

Hey if you are on the DNC list, then you can make a complaint about anyone who should not be calling you... just did a few mins ago myself!
Here is the link: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
Good Luck =)

We are getting daily phone calls from them after we have repeatedly asked them to stop. We even told them that we are on the National Registry and yet they still call. We will be seeking legal advice and will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau about this. We are not behind in any bills and have no problems paying them so we cannot understand why they keep calling but when we do not answer the call from the (401) area code then within 5 minutes we receive another call from a (701) area code and am sure this is the same company but a different location because it happens too many times not to be them.

They call us constantly, even though we've asked to be put on their do not call list a dozen times.

On my caller ID 401-515-0271 shows Debt Relief so it sounds like someone trying to put you under a debt plan, rather than a debt collector.
