Got a call today from this number, didn't answer no voicemail left. (this was on my google voice number)

Seems they need something ... they need to be reported to do not call list ..

I'm from RI and we ONLY have a 401 area code - I've been applying to jobs but got the vibe not to answer this number. glad I didn't.

I also get called from this number.  I believe the same company uses 401 562 1445 and 401 562 1480.  Also no message.  I have gotten the, "The FBI warns that...."/some-kind-of-security-system-telemarketing one before, but haven't confirmed the number yet.

I just got a call from them at 12:42pm, also from RI, but I didn't pick it up.

just recieved a phone call from this number at 12:35pm (from RI), ignored the phone call, and called them back but had blocked my phone number. I heard the same message of "getting removed from the list" and hung up. has anyone tried getting removed? im going to ignore it and hope they leave me alone. i dont trust anything like this and feel if they do end up leaving me alone, its better that i never responded

Called me and my husband no messages left.  Texted "who is this" and received a text back saying message was successfully delivered to a landline.  Called and was some kind of telemarketing.  Message said push any button to be removed from the list...will take 24-48 hrs to be removed.

Got a call from 4015621448 - seems to be a telemarketer with the voice message left: If you would allow us to place a small sign on your lawn, we'll install a security system totally free."

Odd, I've got one already! And ask yourself - why would anyone do that. Must take an idiot to actually think it's real. (Internet SPAM's the same way) - keep your eyes peeled for the obvious and in this case, your ears. Don't even pick up the phone.

Nice, VERY nice that iPhone's now give you an option to 'block caller' on any number that calls you, that you don't care to even be bothered with what-so-ever. Telemarketers - you're going to have to find a new job - you're certainly not going to last once everyone else gets on that same (block-caller) band-wagon! The last (sneaky!) laugh is on you.

Everytime I answer because i think it's my daughters school or something else important,  its a recorded message about the FBI.    Very disturbing seeing how i am on the DNC list.    Grrrrrrrrr
