I, too, received the same threats from Chris Jenkins yesterday.  However, I did not returned the telephone calls.  I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, thereby the B.B.B. will track these fraudulent threats.

Calling my job and leaving message for my old boss.

They called my husband and said his friend was involved in fraudulent business and used his name and my husbands name. Said if my husband did not have his friend contact him he would be in serious legal trouble. Then we believe he used a program used for prank calls to select any number to show up and used our police dept number because when my husband called the police back there was no record of them calling him. This guy and his people are INSANE

Just recieved a call from "Chris Jenkins' YESTERDAY it was "Shawn Black". WOW! Same thing, telling me I was going to lose my job and that the police were coming to arrest me.  All this for a bogus loan from a "payday" loan?  Wanted me to wire money Western Union to a lady that was in the "collections" department.  Told me they were from the Federal Crime Investigations and that they had my social security number and home address, PLUS my place of employment and was notifying the Police for an arrest warrant to be issued by 5:00pm.  Also said this is a time-sensitive matter and "hope you have a good luck in your ife and God Bless you". Again...WOW! UNBELIEVABLE!!! They even call from a 000-000-0000 number.  When I called back blocked number they didn't answer, but when I called with a number showing I recieved a answer machine that just said leave a message with my social security number and they would return my call. I thought ALL government agencies had to verify whom they were with on an answering machine - I work for the Sate of Texas and we HAVE to verify whom we are working for along with our names on our answering machines and when answering a call. What a SCAM! Don't play into it!

i received a call from a a Tom Atkinson on September 07, 2011 at11:35am about a loan i never received from a company. i called the company and they stated that a loan was never given to me. i am informing this person Tom Atkinson that i am going to have my lawyer call to inform him of a lawsuit against him and his company.

I had the same type of phone calls that you received from a different number.  This is a big scam.  You can tell these people that you no longer are employed because of the harrassing phone calls.  I found the calls quite amusing once I figured out it was a big scam and there was nothing they could do to me.  I asked them several times if they had found Jesus.  For some reason, this really pisses them off and they will eventually stop calling.

Just received a phone message from Chris Jenkins.  Stated that there is a legal case against me under crime and investigations.  That I needed to call back, due to time sensitive material.  Stated that I would be served at work place or home if I did not respond.  At the end stated Good Luck and Have a Blessed Day???  What is this world coming to?  Thank you for your posts.  From help with our fellow man is cases such as this!

Received a message saying that I owed an online loan company money. Said I was doing illegal activity. Threatened to take me to court along with a friend that I used as a reference. Heavy accent with the name of Kevin Simpson.

Got calls from another number indicating a lawsuite against me.  Then a Sgt. Carter called my workplace and told the receptionist that there was a serious legal matter against me and I should call back on 4016083010.  I wish they would leave me alone and stop trying to take advantage of innocent people!

Whoever is doing this needs to be caught.  They have my work number, also called my daughter and have both her home and cell numbers.  Very threatening caller.

lol I got the same guy number by the name of JOHN WILLIAMS an saying all the same thing and it was fun leading him on till i had the police officer call him back and had my lawyer also an he was crapping bricks and playing hardball but now i got everybody getting a case around that person and the western union address an he gave me 48hrs an threaten me dont worry people it a hoax and i got the police and ftc and fbi an ci3.gov and my credit on him now

Got a call from number for a pay day loan i didn't apply for. A man with a very heavy accent said if I didn't pay $786 dollars I was going to be arrested and taken out of my job in handcuffs by 5pm.  They said i was in violation of federal law, check fraud and theft by deception and I would have to pay $9000 in court if I didn't settle now.

Got the same call from a "Chris Jenkins" which has a very heavy accent by the way. I called the number back blocking my number and it just rang. Then I called it back w/out blocking my number and someone answered in a whole different language. When I asked what company I was calling they said it wasn't a company but a law firm. The message he had initially left was that he was calling on behalf of "Cyber Crimes Investigation".

What do these guys get out of calling and harrassing us? Certainly no money or anything tangible is obtained.  Are these guys in Jail or some foreign country and are setting us up / conditioning us to ignore calls or are they preparing us to call them back at one of those out of the country calls that charges us BIG BUCKS automatically when we call that number - like a 976 or 967 or whatever those numbers are??  Don't waste your time calling them back - they're just a bunch of stupid idiots - imho.

Same exact thing as above.  Guy claiming to be "Chris Jenkins" with some sort of accent left a message and claimed to be a federal agent threatening me with legal action against my social security number that would affect my personal and professional life.  Said this was a "very time-sensitive matter."  The number he called from was 16469180991 but the call-back number was 4016083010.
