Called in Colorado 2011-06-06 20:46:58 Unknown
I received this call on my cell phone. I didn't answer because I didn't know the number.
They left a partial message: "...speak with one of our customer service agents."
I called the number back but I only encountered a busy signal.
I use Selctive Call forwarding on my Qwest (soon to be CenturyLink) landline phone to screen out these annoying calls, but my cell phone doesn't provide the same capability.
Thus far, this is the only call I've received.

I had the same number show on my cell phone yesterday. I answered it, pressed #1 to speak with someone, told them to take me off their list, and STILL received a call again today.
Susan 2011-06-06 20:46:58 Unknown
I just received a call from "Anna" at this same number. Pressed 1, told the man to stop calling and he hung up on me. This is on my cell phone. I registered my cell phone on the Do Not Call Registry and this is supposed to stop the calls. Will see....
Andy 2011-06-06 20:46:58 Unknown
Why can't this be stopped? This has been going on for months. Same credit card mesage.
Jenna 2011-06-06 20:46:58 Unknown
received a call from this number offering to lower my credit card intrest rate. have to press 1 to speak to a rep and then told the man who answered to remove my number from their call list. He hung up on me.

Had the # in my missed calls on my cell, and the half message due to the thing trying to talk while my voice mail told them how to leave one. ;) I don't give my cell to businesses, so I think they must be dialing all valid combos to see what sticks.
Also took one today from 208-761-8806 and asked to be removed, we'll see if that sticks.

I get the same message as the rest of you folks. Just curious: Have any of you signed up for the U S Air Mastercard lately? I'm wondering if that's how they got my Verizon cell number.

Have recently been receiving calls from 401-651-7118 located in Woonsocket, RI as well as 701-625-5444 in Martin, ND. The 401 # didn't leave a message but when I attempted to call back it went to voice mail. The name on voice mail was Hassid but his mailbox was not accepting messages. The 701 # is a man named Tom from Home Security Systems. I don't say anything but he keeps talking. He asks if I would like to receive a free security system just for putting up a GE sign in my yard. I don't respond and he hangs up. When I called back I got a recording of a woman telling me to "Press 1" to have your name placed on the Do Not Call List. Well, I am already registered with the Federal DNC registry for my cell phone. As well, I have also been receiving weird text messages from mostly New York (I'm on the west coast). Texts are asking me to go to a certain web site if I want to make a lot of money. Of course I don't go to those sites and immediately report them to my carrier. I am very careful with giving out my cell phone number but I believe people have hacked somebody's computer system containing my number!
Diane 2011-03-18 19:51:39 Unknown
A recording comes on telling me that this is the last time they are going to try to contact me with this offier to reduce rate by combinning credit cards. Only catch is that you must owe more than $3,000. Clik on 1 if you want to talk to a real person........ yeah, right. I get a real person but the second I asked who this company is, and explain that the recording tells me that they have tried to contract me by mail several times and told them I had not received anything, he hung up on me. Well the way I see it is if you cant answer a simple question, then why are you bothering me with your call?

GC 2011-03-17 22:51:48 Unknown
They called me yesterday. I was working and could not answer; they did not leave a message.
Caitlin 2011-03-17 22:50:43 Unknown
Call me repeatedly w/out a full message, so they basically are forcing you to call back. I never have. They annoy the crap outta me.
Kat 2011-03-17 22:23:31 Telemarketer
Multiple calls. I asked them not to call me. They hang up. I asked them if they've heard of the DO NOT CALL list, they hang up. I asked for the name of the company. They hangup.
I am going to try this http://callerdb.com/

I got the same call from 401-651 7118 and my cell is on the do not call. What is the purpose of the National Do Not Call registry if people and businesses still call you. I think it's because there is no costly punishment. I asked them to take me off their list and they hung up and when I called back is was a fast busy signal, the day before I received a call and when I called back the recording said the user has a voice message system that is not set up yet. BS
Bea 2011-03-17 19:54:04 Unknown
When I asked for the company name, "Tony" provided me with Account Services. I asked if the actual company name was Account Services and he replied yes. He then told me to look at my credit card statement and I would see the name "Account Services" on the statement, which is their company. I then asked him for the state of which their corporate office is located. He hung up on me immediately. this is obviously a scam. Of course we are going to have "Account Services" on our credit card and loan statements because that is what your finance company puts on the statements. It has nothing to do with the company that is calling you. It's a scam. Everytime he/she asks you a question, reply back with a question. Ask him or her what color underwear they are wearing, or "do you look as stupid as you sound".....whatever will piss them off and take up as much of their time as possible.

The same lower your credit noise as the others.
I'm on the national do not call list. WTH.
Wish I could get compensated for the hassel.
Last time I got one of these calls I was in South America and they had to pay $10 per minute while I listened to their elevator music.
