I did some research on Crins Consulting.  Found a number for a "Mary Crins" in Rhode Island, same address as a "Barry Crins" and called asking to talk to Barry.  Whoever answered was very defense, kept asking why I wanted to talk to Barry, and initially did not deny that Barry was associated with Crins consulting.  Eventually asked me why I was calling, I told them I wanted off the Crins Consulting call list, and they said they aren't associated with Crins Consulting.

I definitely did not get the responses I would have gotten from a normal person who had no clue what "Crins Consulting" was.

The number I found on google was 401-946-2551, from http://www.maplewoodonline.com/alumni/decade.php?qs1=6., which also had address.

I got the call today from Crins.  Guess what ?  they called a police officer.  Guess who's gonna look into this.  ME of course.  They knew too much about me and said my wife spoke to them.  HAHAHA NOT MARRIED!!!!! GET YOUR STORY STRAIGHT.   HOPEFULLY SEE YOU IN COURT.

I too have been called repetedly. My number is unlisted. I asked how they got it and was told my mother. According to her she never talked to them. I asked a lot of questions and got a bunch of lies which I kept catching them in. I called the # from caller ID it rang about 20 times finally some one answered hello. There was loud cheering in the background. I asked who it was repetedly and finally was told the name of the Company (unfortunately I couldn't catch it, but it wasn't Crin...) He was rude and I hung up.

Oh, gee.  Another one.  Mine was (441) 228-8056, "CRINS CONSULTIN".  The exact same as everyone above, except they hung up after the third ring just as I was answering the phone.  They called back immediately.  The technician is supposed to call back tomorrow (I was told that their hours start at 3:00 P.M.).  IF I would say yes to the technician, where would he come from?  Not Rhode Island.  I am on the Kentucky side of Cincinnati.  I am sure glad that I found this web site.  Thanks.  

This seems to be a new trend - I have been dealing with a company called "CTI".  They wanted me to buy software, or access to it, for stock investing.  Profits were guaranteed.  It was $6K plus the actual stock investment money.  I looked them up on the internet, similar to this, and told them "no" when they called back.  I even asked them to take me off of their calling list.  I have no idea where they got my number.  Six days a week, at least once during the day or night.  They won't leave a message or say anything.  It is usually three rings (just starting the fourth) and then they are gone.  You are not able to call them back.  Seriously, could someone have "hacked" into the government's "Do Not Call List"?  These numbers start as (949) 752-2xxx and (323) 545-95xx.

Crins Consulting SCARES me.  The number on my caller ID is 401-882-8507.   They have called my home many many times in the last month.  I finally answered and the subject was my home security.  My home security is none of their business.   If I should ever have an attempted breakin, this company will be the first name I give to the police.

Repeated calls from this number. Even though we don't answer.

I must get at least three phone calls a day from this Crins Consulting.  They either don't leave a message or they hang up.  When I try calling them back, it rings forever and then disconnects.

I will be reporting this number to the police, right after I finish this post but I am sure they will just change their number and continue the calls.  I believe this is a scam to see if I am home or if I have an alarm, sort of like casing my home before a robbery.  

I am angry and frightened and have a reputable alarm system so I know I never signed up for this bogus company.

They called and answered my hello by saying "Hey" then I heard loud laughter and then they hung up.

I got a call today from 401-228-8567, they also told me I had won a free security system (they had reached my young daughter last week and asked a bunch of questions).  Same modus operandi as the other folks here report.  I told them I already had a security system, and they wanted referrals.  If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck... it's a duck.

(401) 228-8510 has been calling our house at least three times a day for the last few days.  When I answer, they ask for me or they say "Hi, ________?" I lie and say it's not me.  Then they always say the same thing:  "Well, this is Vanessa, and her friend Linda asked me to call her."  Annoying.  I've asked them repeatedly not to call here.  We are also on the Do Not Call List.

Numerous calls a day and when I answer they hang up on me.  Noone has actually had a conversation and so tonight when they called at 8:50(have three small children so that always puts me over the edge when someone calls that late) so I called them back to once again be hung up on and then when I tried a few more times it was busy.  I called back about 5 minutes later to have no answer at all.  Very annoyed!!  NUMBER that calls me is 401-228-8510

Same thing here with the GE security thing, saying I had taken a survey that I do not remember. Lady called from Crins Consulting 401-228-8507. Then about 20 minutes later they had the technician call, despite me never agreeing to everything. I told the guy I did not want the service and the badgering continued for another few minutes, including continually asking if I owned my home. The caller ID had VMS on the technician call and the number was 401-434-4585. I am also on the do not call list and they have been calling all week.

I received a call from Crinns Consulting for the first time last night at 8:47 pm.  I found this forum after I googled the name, hope this does not continue.  I am on the Do Not Call List.  Does anyone know who these people are?  The number they called from:  401-228-8528

My call came from 401-228-8703 (Crins Consulting on the caller ID).  They told me that after completing a survey about smoke alarms a couple weeks ago, I was chosen in a drawing to win a free security system.  I never took that survey, but there was a missed call on my phone from the date they claimed: that # was 352-352-0352 (w/ an "unknown name")

To ensure this company and others don't call you, go to the do not call.gov and register up to 3 phone numbers.  Because of a law passed in 2007, it is permanent.

I am receiving calls from same company with this number 401-228-8715. Never answer and they don't leave a message.

Add these numbers to the list, 401-228-8075 and 401-228-8531. Crins Conulting. They have been harrassing my parents and leaving messages when they don't answer, even calling out on the answering machine asking "are you there?" I am going to call the RI AG's office and BBB.

Got a call From this # tonight.  Said she was from GE and I had won a GE  security system.  When I told her I already had one she wanted to know if it was hooked up directly to the police dept.  I answered yes and she said that because I had one already  I could give it to some else.  I told her I would have to think about that.  She said she would call me back later in the week to get the name of the person I came up with.  The call came from Crime Consultation.  401-921-2534.  When I looked this # up it says the the number belongs to a Erica Martira or Erica Baton in Warwick. RI.
