Receive calls from this number often, If my caller ID doesn't give a name I recognize I don't answer.

Received call from 402-200-4899 at 10:08 Oct 25.  Did not answer. Adding this entry just to have it on record.

Caller I.D. said U.S. Cellular.  When I answered she asked for me by name and said she wanted to talk to me about a Playboy subscription.  I asked why the caller I.D. appeared as U.S. Cellular and she said she didn't know, was new on the job.  I tried to advise her of the misrepresentation and then I hung up.  I Immediately contacted U.S. Cellular and they assured me they would follow up on this issue.

I have been receiving calls from this number several times a day for the past two weeks or so.  When I answer, there is NEVER anyone there and I am tired of getting these calls.  How do people actually get to talk to someone to tell them to stop calling?  I just yell into the phone to stop, but it doesn't work obviously.

Was home when second call came in today.  Caller ID showed  US Cellular.  When I answered, I was addressed by a name that isn't mine.  When I said there was no one here by that name.  He came back with my full name.  He was calling for Rachael Ray magazine.  My wife no longer takes that magazine.

I picked up the phone today only because my nephew was asleep and I didn't want it to wake him, but a man answered and said he was from "More" magazine and it was about my subscription.  He said there was no problem with it, but he just wanted to...and then he started stammering.  I was on my cell so I told him I was on another call, could he call back in a little bit.  He said that was probably better anyway, cause he "wasn't really together yet".  I usually never pick up calls when I don't know the #, and won't again.  Definitely fraudulent, as I've had a subscription to More for years now, and never received a call from them - let alone like this one.  Be careful people!

I don't know who is calling from this number because if you let the answer machine pick it up they hanh up.

I have received calls from this number for over a week.  No message left....

They call, leave no message.  Try to call back, busy signal.

This number solicted information, checking account number & routing, from my wife for a magazine subscription.  They said they were from More magazine and wanted my wife to rescribe and indicated the check would be fowarded to Aspen media.  My wife gave them the information to renew her subscription.  She them called More and determined that this company was not affliated with the magazine and alas, it turned out to be fradulent.  Probably Nigerias or another 3rd world crounty scam

I started getting these calls, would ring until answering machine cut on then they never leave a message. I finally answered today and Man on phone ask for, a name. I asked them to remove my phone from their list but all he said was, so you have been avoiding me. asked what he wanted and in a very hateful voice said you'll find out and hung up the phone. I find this very disturbing. I"m blocking this number permanently.

Starting to receive calls from this number.  Have placed them on permanent block.  They ring until answering machine picks up, but never leave message.

Thanks for letting me know.  I just cancelled my subscription with them & they're probably trying to get me back.  I just blocked their number.
