Call came in and hung up before I could answer.  When the number was called back a recording saying the number was not in service came on.

Rec'd call at 5:05 pm. Number called several times but I did not pick up.  Glad I checked here as it is seems to be a scam. Annoying

This number has been calling my office 10+ times a day, never leave a message and always hang up after the third ring before voicemail can pick it up.     Getting really annoying and has been occurring for about one week now.  You'd think the jerks would just give up.

I just received a call from this number asking specifically for my name.  I pretended not to be myself and they said they need me to call back regarding an order of gardening tools that I was expecting on Thursday, but wouldn't receive until Monday.

So odd!  I kept questioning asking for the caller's name (answer: Jack Wilson) and then for the name of the manager who I supposedly spoke to before (Paul Clay).  Then I was hung up on when asking for the name of the company.  I'm wondering if they were trying to keep me on the line for some reason??

401-767-3107 Has been calling multiple times daily for over a month.  I use Caller-ID to screen all calls.  I never answer 800, 888, 877 Toll-free number calls, and they never leave a message.  Always a sales call.  Sometimes I just pick up the receiver and set it back down to hang up on them, if I'm expecting a client call.

I finally answered one of their calls to see who was being such a pest, and got the Yellow Pages spiel.  I told them I was not interested, but do they listen?  Hell no!  These guys have been relentless!  When other so-called Yellow Pages sales calls, I tell them I'm not interested and they go away!  I deal with our local phone company's agent and no one else.

Whatever state you are living in contact your Attorney Generals' office...It is the Consumer Fraud and welfare hotline in each state. Let them know what is going on. If you have caller ID...write down all the times they have called, the date etc....the Attorney Generals office will send you complaint forms in the mail...it may take a month but they will get the calls stopped. If you are not on a NO Call List...try to get on one but some of these places will claim they do business with you.,,but what they are doing is harassment. If everyone would do this and complain about this, it would get a lot of these nonsense calls stopped. I used to try to ignore it but the problem would just get worse. Good Luck to you! I hope that you will be able to get them stopped through your Attorney General.

i have a small business and ive use a software app called "phone tray free" for about 6 years now  you have to run your phone line to your computer then when someone calls you don't want to here from again you click zap and set it up to zap the call every time ive got about 100 number im zapping and the best part is that its free,,google it

many calls every day       once they pulled the update listing rouse on me       but they KEEP CALLING

so many like them out there...there is nothing we can do...beleive me, if there was, I am the one that woul dbe able to do it...............

i wish these people would just get a life and leave us alone

They just keep calling, several time a day. What a shame the telephone co. can't do anything about it. How do you stop it?

They NEVER answer calls every hour on the hour and this is a buisness number I JUST WORK HERE. We conduct no buisness over the phone either everything has to be in writing I JUST WANT THE CALLS to stop we have a local yellowpages that we advertise in and it is paid yearly ontime if I want more I will contact local and not some 401 ###

they called and said they were Verizon Yellow pages. I went along with them wanting to "update our business listing". Then they asked my name "for reference" and when I told them my name, they hung up on me.

As soon as I answer the phone they hang up on 12/28/10 they called 15 times in a 8 hour span of time.  I am filing a police report.

If they get all information including last name you will be sent a bill for the previous year that they have "advertised your companies? information online". The best part is by the time you get the bill the add that "existed" for the past year will have been taken down because you have not made payment.
