This number keeps calling me, and last night at nearly 9pm! I have a 4 & 5 yr old sleeping on a school night so I would really like to have words with this guy if he ever has the balls to actually talk instead of hanging up.

Asking about a gym membership that I don't have

A little boy called my house asking for my son. He said his name is Isaiah. I asked him how he new my son and he didn't say anything. I told him not to call here again.

Me and my husband have lived here in our home for over 8 years now and have had the same telephone number for the entire time. These people call non stop asking for a Mr.Jenkins we have no idea whom this person is and when I tell them this they then try to sell me a security system for our home. I have told them very politely thank you but no thank you we have a security system and are very happy with our service and they still will not let up. I also have told them please put us on your do not call list. I know I have told them this at very least 40 or more times. My husband and I are senior citizens and do not want these bother some calls.

Someone finally talked to me today (3rd straight day they called); It was "GE Home Security". I told the rep I was on NC list and she said I was a registered GE owner and that is how they could call me.  I told her I was not interested and to take me off their call list; she said she would.  Remind me to but Kenmore next time.

How do they get our numbers? I have call block for this very reason.

I was called by this # twice in two days - no one responded 1st time; 2nd time only rang twice and quit before i answered.  I called the # and got a recording with no ID and i left a message - it was "BITE ME!"

I want these calls stopped. We are on a no call list and we still receive calls from this number several times a week. I have reported this number and will continue to do so until they quit calling.

We received MULTIPLE unwanted calls from this organization as well. I strongly encourage anyone who has received these calls to contact your state attorney general (AG) to file a complaint and report the abusive nature of the calls and place your number on the NO-CALL list (if your state has one).

They started with my husband. They called him repeatedly until he had a, shall we say, firm and deliberate conversation with a supervisor and reported them to the AG. We stopped getting the calls for a while and then they started calling me, even leaving a message addressing me by my first name.

We contacted the AG's office again yesterday and are in the process of reporting the abusive calls again. Interestingly enough, I just received another call but didn't answer.

These people need to be stopped, so please contact your state attorney general. If you don't know who that is, visit your state's website for contact information.

We just received a call from this number.  The area code is in the area of Anapolis, Maryland.  Since I have relatives in that area, I called back and got that same message that the rest of you got.  I didn't leave a message, but will see if I receive any more calls from this number.  I have already registered with the Do Not Call registry and will definitely report it if I receive any more calls from them.

I have been receiving repeated calls from this number, however, no one responds when I answer.  Quite an annoyance.  As soon as I hang up from this number another call comes in from 401-220-7273.

Got a call from this number and when I said hello I got no response from the other end. I finally hung up.  Will not answer again when I see this number come up on my caller ID.

I am also on the Do Not Call list.  Why does that not work?  I reported the call, but don't know if it will do any good.

called 26 Oct.  caller ID says "Unknown Name" - i didn't answer; no message was left.  sounds like they are pretty...ruthless?  is that the right word?  maybe just incessant...either way, ugh.

Scary.  They have my name. guy speaking very low. Told cannot here him. He does speak louder. He sounded passive. Said my first name and his first name (could understand it) and the company..GE  somethin.  I asked for him to repeat again.  Said my name. who he was and the compnay name and how was I doing. (ha ha).  I ask John who?  pause.... he said my last name. I asked who are you trying to call?   John, he said.  You said you were John... NOOOoo. I never said who I was.  said goodbye and click.

So how they have my name?  This place is an apartment.

Called and didn't leave a message.  I never answer if I don't recognize the number -- if it's important, they will leave a message, so this must be a scam.

Have had several calls from this number.  I, too, am on the Do Not Call List.  Caller ID says Rhode Island.  I don't know anyone from Rhode Island, so I don't answer.  Will not leave a message.  Hopefully they will get the hint and quit calling, but I doubt it.

A guy told me that he worked for GE Home Security.  They are looking for homes in my area to install home security systems.

I told him that I was on the No-Call list and asked to have my name & number taken off of his list.

Called around 6 PM, let it go to answering machine because we have called ID and didn't know the number. Caller did not leave a message. Filed DNC complaint. Ready to get a whistle for goofballs like this.

I did write a letter to the FCC about this.  Four months later, FCC sent me a letter informing me they had received my complaint, but that they do not disclose individual outcomes.  Today, 7 months after my initial complaint I received another one of these annoying calls from the same outfit, the people who want an outrageous monthly fee to monitor the "free" security system they will install if you sign up for three years of monitoring.

I also got a call from this number and no one was there.  Then got the google voice message when I called it back. Creepy!

Caller ID said RHODE ISLAND CALL.

A female said she saw calling from GE Home Security.

I said I was not interested and she hung up.

I am on the DNC list, and I will be reporting this.

Received calls before with no response when I answered. He finally said something today that really made me angry - He asked for my wife that passed away over 15 years ago. I angrily said to never call this number again or he would be reported. Where do these people get their names and numbers. She lived at this number only one year before passing. I did call the number back twice and got the same answering messages above.

I just received a call from this number.  I didn't answer right away and they hung up when I finally answered the call.  Hoping they don't call back, but probably will.

Yeah, just called the number back and left many voicemails (not very good ones either), hopefully everyone else just does the same. Maybe he get the message? :)
