We have been receiving calls from this same number, we do not answer the call. At times a recorded message has been left from a woman saying she is "Myra" from AOL, thanking us for our membership and wanting us to call to discuss our account. We have NOT had an AOL account for at least the past 8 or ten years.

This thief steals debit card info and signs the victim up for AOL and funds are drawn from the victims bank without the victims knowledge or signature. The calling thief will follow up by calling after the victim discovers the theft and files a fraud report with the bank. Banks aid and abet this activity by granting access to thieves without verification of permission or identity. The banks do not really care about the victim .... just fees from transactions.

I received the same call and sounds like the same person. He was asking me info about my password I told him I don't know if you are really from AOL. He said he would give me more information to confirm he was from AOL once I gave him my information he was asking me to confirm. I told him I was sorry I was not going to do that and I hung up.

I received a call from this number today 402-152-9121 concerning my AOL account. Is this Legitimate?
It was a male with an accent, asking if this was me, stating he was from AOL, said my account was in good standing, and thank you for being a customer. I asked him who he was, did not give a name. I asked him if this was really AOL and he hung up the phone.
