I received a call from this number. The voicemail was from 'Nick', who requested I give him a call back at 877-244-6735. I checked that number and it's tied to a national marketing firm that says they'll sell your car on the internet. Further research reveals that it might be Nick, Nicole, or Nikki that calls you.

Additionally, I received a call from 'Allen' this morning. He said he works for Longwood Industries, a 501 (c)(3) firm that he says matches buyers with sellers. He said he had people that are going to be interested in buying my car. Research on this firm revealed a history of consumer complaints.

Bottom line - don't call any of these people back. Both must have seen my ad on craigslist for free, and now want me to PAY them to advertise my car. SCAM!

Same story as Charles wrote...  Call back number was 877-244-6735.   Caller ID was 402-218-4010.  The pitch was they were locating RV's for sale througout the country, and had a ready maket for the recently homeless in California. The hook was offering low-interest loans that were not available to anyone else...  SCAM!

Same as previous,, Caller claimed he was a broker who helped his
"customers" find construction equipment the where interested in buying. His company then took care of the financing and transport for his "customers" after you and his "buyer" made the deal. Stated for $200.00 he would have parties interested in what I was offering call me that very same day willing to buy at the price I was selling at.

When I said it sounded like a good deal but how could you guarantee I am actually going to sell my equipment plus at price I was wanting to sell for, he got almost angry that I would even question such a "good deal".

I asked if there was a website I could go to learn more about what his company had to offer, but he had a another "client" calling and told me to call back in an hr after I realized, in fact, what a great opportunity this was.

They keep calling but I have not returned there calls. I would stay away from this fast pressure techniques.

Same story here. Calls from 402-218-4010 but says to call 877-244-6735. His name is Don Reed.
My big truck is for sale at Truckpaper.com & Craigslist so no telling which one he got my number from.

I received a call from this number today from a Don Reid who asked if my vehicle was still for sale.  For a start he asked for my ex of over 2 years.  Got angry with me when I asked where he got my number from as my vehicle has not been advertised for over 2 years.  Very fishy.

I HAVE RECEIVED NUMEROUS CALL FROM THIS A--HOLE ,TOLD HIM I SOLD THE TRUCK ,HE ASKED ME HOW MUCH I TOLD HIM IT DIDNT MATTER HE COPPED AN ATTITUDE AND TOLD ME I DIDNT SELL @ THAT POINT I HUNG UP ON HIM .THAT WAS THE THIRD CALL IN TWO DAYS FROM THIS GUY.402
