I got a call from that number too.  With a recording saying I had an appointment.  I have no idea what kind of appointment.

Received two calls and messages from this number confirming an appointment to get internet installed through Charter Communications.

I just received two calls and message saying that I had an appointment for installation from Charter Communications. I really had no idea for this kind of calling.

This is Charter Communications... So stupid that they use an automated caller to confirm my appt in an hour.

It is Charter.  I had an appt today, and they called my cell phone,

There was a problem last night that took my phone and internet too.  I did give the number so they could contact me if it wasn't back on.

was Charter Communications calling to confirm service appointment.

Charter CABLE company called once to " confirm" that tech would be here between 3:45 pm and 4:45 pm, he was ALREADY here! Then AFTER he left,, called AGAIN to " confirm" that tech would be here between 1 pm and 2 pm! This AFTER the tech call was completed. Our internet router box was hot and needed replacing according to them. Now, this box which has been on approx. 1 hour is also HOT, which according to them is NOT supposed to happen. MAJOR  problems with Charter cable and we've only had internet and telephone with them for 2 weeks! DO NOT ORDER!

Yup, It was a confirmation for a scheduled cable internet service call by Charter Communications.
