If you notice these collection agencies take on well known names and use them on your Caller ID so you will answer the phone. Using false names to gain someones personal information is illegal. Just like this one that shows Platinum Recovery Solutions and uses U.S. Cellular. For anybody that's being harassed by these agencies should look up [Collection Agencies Statues of Limitations]or [Statutes of Limitations on Collection Agencies. In these articles it says never agree to set up a payment plan because that means you're continuing the debt pay off...!!! They also take on old debts and reopen them to collect money for themselves..!! This is worth reading...!!! The original credit card holder First Consumer National Bank was closed down by the Government over 10 years ago. Really declared Bankruptcy and has had several law suit against them as well...!! BE VERY CAREFUL...!!!

I'm in Omaha so I know its that building right off of West Dodge. I filed a complaint with the Neb Attorney General's Office. Fake Caller ID Spoofing isn't cool.

There was a article on TV, that "fack" agencies find these right off debts or just a debt and use their fack name to ID themselves as an angency representing a company to collect a debt. Slick.. but consumers fall in their trap and pay them and it does not show up on your Credit Report as paid...!!!
It was reported that allot of these companies are from overseas so they are not regulated by US Laws. Just maybe our wonderful elected Congress could help the "American" people and stop these companies.
Also they said that allot of your debt are paid but are never deleted from your credit report..It does seem like your credit reports are not up dated..??
Negative debts over 7 years old should be deleted and things like bankrupcies should be deleted after 10 years..!!It should be noted that some of your creditors change the dates to keep the collections in process...!!!
Like someone before said where is the new President taking any action on these abuses to the American people...????

It takes a real skeevy bunch of people to use a fake number in an attempt to get me to pick up the phone.

Not only was it on an auto-dialer, apparently they can't bother to afford technology that recognizes that it has been sent to voicemail. It left a message telling my voicemail to press a number to speak with a representative. I know voicemail is pretty advanced these days, but that's silly.

This is a rotocall.. in other words randomly generated by a computer used by various debt collectors.. if you redial the 4025156048 it does say disconnected.. but if you call 800-444-0774 for Platinum Recovery Solutions PO Box 3708 Omaha NE 68103... another number to use is 888-513-1882 the 800 number works better.

Most of these calls are computer generated. Sounds like someone is using a fake user ID to get you to answer the phone. Don't ever answer and if they keep calling report them the office of your State Attorney General. Because if they're doing their job they will check this caller out.

Chances are they will not do anything because they don't care about you...!!!

This is the one that broke the proverbial camel's back.  I love the USA too much to just do nothing!!!  I have 3 grandchildren and another on the way.  Someone has to try to protect our future . . . Our future is our grandkids and their grandkids.  I have already lost my wife and several family members . . . I am sick of this worthless government.

Just think the new adminstration wants to crack down on credit card companies about their ways to abuse the American people but Congress could stop the calls but they don't care because their already in office and don't need you anymore...!!!!

These calls are all computer generated but someone has to put these numbers in the computer first...!!! Got to be a real "High Paying Job"...???

This number keeps calling and leaves no message, but when we answer they don't respond!!

Just rec'd a call like 2 minutes ago from this number.  I put this number into a google search and bam! This website showed up so I thought I'd post my comment. It shows up as a cell call on my caller ID.  WE are on a "do not call" list, so why are we getting these calls?

I just received a telephone call from that number . . . Cellular . . . I read it on the display and then I refused to pick it up.  I know who it is.  It's a bogus charge from a fashion clothes company and I absolutely refuse to pay it . . . I will die because of principle before I give them one red cent.  I will take it to the weirdos in the Supreme Court of the United States and I will tell them that they will have to kill me ... I refuse to pay the 3-bills of $79.95 for some kind of Clothes that I never ever purchased.  It's all a fraud and our country leaders are so chickens*** that they won't do anything about it.  I am ready for blood to be shed on this one.  I am sick and tired of this S*** Country that we live in, being run by a group of liberal morons!!

This is H&R Block with an important message for (gives the person's name) then it says, If this is (&*(#$&&#) then press one. You press one then it says please enter the last 4 digits of your SS#. If you don't have this number then it disconnects the call. I tried calling back and it's a disconnected number. I googled it and it's a cell phone number from Nebraska

I've gotten two calls from this number today and there is no message left.  When I try to call it back there is a message that says "This is not a working number.  Check the number and try again."

I got a call from this number then typed it in google and found this. What the hell? Its all good I got ways of finging things out...   ;)
