Unwanted harassing call.

How does the person pay for the use of this number?

My brother is in Ft. Jackson also and called from this number. I called it back and it is a calling card.. I feel horrible cause I missed his call.

My son called from Afghanistan and this number came up. I was traveling so he called my cell phone after calling my home phone and the same number came up. He was on the other end so I can verify that this is not a creditor as someone previously posted

My husband called me from this number, informing me he made it to Kuwait. They are phone cards primarily issued to Military.

This number appeared on my caller id when my son called from Italy with a prepaid card.

This is so odd!  The person calling me from this number was calling from the Discovery Lodge in Estes Park, CO, but the phone # for the Discovery Lodge is listed as:  970.586.3336.  I called right back, confused, got connected with the person who called.  I have no idea why a number for Omaha, Nebraska would show on Caller ID!

This number showed up and it was my son calling from the Middle East. To the mom who posted before me, "keep the faith". Your son will call you again. We are in this together.

I just received a call from this number, and I MISSED IT!!! I believe it was my son who is in Afghanistan. I am so pissed that I missed the call!

My fiancee is in the miltary on a teaching assignment and he called me from what he said in the VM was a pay phone. This number came up. Not sure if he was using a calling card or not.

I have been receiving calls from this number, the last one tonight at 12:02am and it was from a man i had just recently broken up with. I have asked around and was told by another person he is using this number to call another ex-girlfriend also to harrass her.

This number appeared on my caller ID.. I didnt answer the call .. it was my son  deployed in Afghanistan.

I just got a call from my husband with the same number and he's deployed in Iraq

My brother used this number to call me from Afghanistan. He has also used 808-653-9999. They use satellite phones with pre-paid calling cards to call the States.

Someone you know in Kuwait is attempting to call you.  I compared the times and call durations on our home phone bill and they coincide with the times I made calls to the US.

recieved called around 5:23PM eastern.  did not answer because I did not know that number.  No message was left on phone so I'm sure its not important. 402=Nebraska Area Code.

i am receiving calls from this number late at night which are harrassing in nature from a recently broken relationship.  He was in the military for 12 years.  How he uses this number i do not know but i have been told by a few other people he has used this number to call them also to harrass them.

If 402-517-9978 showed up on your called ID, all it means is that someone called you using a pre-paid calling card.

I got two calls from this number and no one talked when I answered so was wondering who it was from.
