Dismayed to search and search to find that everyone has the same problem with no real solution!   I use the mobile email app on my new cricket android to check my emails, is it really connected??  So far this morning (and it's only 8:00 am) I have had 46 messages....

NOTICE IF IT DOESNT HAVE AN AREA CODE ITS ACTUALLY OUT OF COUNTRY ..... I KNOW THIS CUZ I TEXT MY FRIENDS INTERNATIONALLY AND THEY DONT HAVE AREA CODES

I keep receiving an unwanted text from this number.  The area code doesn't show up, but only the 709-6422.  It is really annoying!

Received a text message from this number, saying my AOL alerts are being turned off and I need to sign in to reactive the alerts. Not sure if it's real or not, but I do use AOL on my phone. Hmmm...

Well this number in less than 24 hours now (not including the 300 plus all week) has called me with texts.  They don't answer their number but forward and they don't answer.  In less than 24 hours now I have had 61 of these...61!!!!!!!!!!!!!    It must stop.  My phone is also a droid and sorry I got it if this continues.  Why should we have to delete the mobil mail anyway....they need to stop doing this.  Someone hacked into my email and sent a virus to lots of people.  This is a phone for goodness sake and I am really tired of idiots that just want to annoy others and cause problems.

I have the new droid from Cricket, how do you delete the mobile mail program from your phone? I drag my icon to the trash, but it is not going away.

I just got the same message and  Deleted the Mobile Mail program off of my phone, Hope that helps

How do you delete that feature off the phone?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  :)

sorry k meant to reply to justin anywho problem solved cricket is just letting you know that if you dont sighn into yahoo your email account on your cell will be expired and and no longer there you will not be charged if its disscontinued.thats what cricket told me.

got a text message from 7096422 warnning me that my yahoo alerts have been turned off and to sighn in to my yahoo account to re-activate the alerts.i dont know if he has anything to do with it but doese anyone know a mark benson mark_ben200@yahoo.com because besides my family and friends he is the only stranger that ive given my cell number to.

I dailuy, at least 10 times a day recv texts from this #, it displays as : 7096422 with a weird text message that makes no sense!

The same thing just happened to me...I googled on my laptop and read your messages..I deleted that off my phone!  Thanks!  Did cricket have anything to say about what happened.  I logged in on my computer and changed my password.

THIS WAS A SECURITY BREACH. My main AOL mobile mail acct. no longer works and cannot be validated any longer. I have cancelled the feature on my phone and encourage others to do the same. (I use Cricket so maybe it was a Cricket thing as well.)

I received a urgent text message from the same number, but no area code, and when I looked at the sender, and it had 7 numbers I was sure this was a phone number, saying that my YAHOO alerts are being turned off, and to log in. I'm wondering if it's a keystroke logger/hacker. Its so weird that now 3 email companys that we use was the topic. My phone is a refirbished so that makes me wonder even more now. And does anybody know, what this numer is? My refirbished phoes previous number owner has bill collectors calling me constantly trying to find the previous owner, so is this a collection agency, or is there some kind of program that can be used to trace keystrokes on a phone through a text message, or something like this? Thanks
