I get calls almost every day from them and I refuse to pick up. Their cause is noble but it doesn't justify invasion of privacy. I've left a message on their website to cease and desist. We'll see if it helps.

This number is from the Organic Consumers Association.  They are telepests asking repeatedly for money.

I've received phone calls about twice a month from these guys. It's always, "Call from: Organic consumers Association. To accept say accept, to voicemail, say voicemail.." and then I say voicemail and they hang up. I'd say scam.

These calls are by Organic Consumers Association.  They are hard to reach, but I suggest you send a complaint to these three administrators in the organization:

They claim only to get one complaint a week.  Let's change that!

They have been calling us too and we have had no contact with these people ever. Looks like they're trying to do good work but I'll never donate to anyone who invades my privacy with these annoying calls in the evening. If they are registered as a non profit they don't have to respect the do not call list. How did that get through anyway?

If this is Organic Consumer's Assoc, I wish they would say so.  I have given to similar causes, but only by mail to who's addresses and websites can be verified.  I hesitate to ever give anything by phone.

I'm tired of the OCA calling me, I'm going to block them.

They've called me 16 times in the last few months!  You'd think they would get the hint and stop calling after 10 or 12 times.  I even answered once, listened to their spiel--something about organic something--and told them I was not interested.  But they keep calling.  I work evenings, and their calls are always while I'm at work, and even with my phone on vibrate, I'm about to get fired because of them!!  How do we get rid of them??

I get a daily call from this number. I do support the cause, however, I do not like getting the calls. I would never donate over the phone. I want it to stop.

I get a call a day from this number.   I don't pick it up because I don't recognize the number and fear it's a telemarketer.  I am on the national do-not-call.  Does that expire?  Would like to make it stop.

I've received alls from this number every day for the past several days. I agree with what the organization is trying to accomplish, however I DID NOT give them - or their marketers - permission to call my home.

They are calling me everyday and never leave a message. It is irritating to say the least. I support the cause but do not want to be pestered into it by some telemarketer. I guess I will see if I can contact th organization itself and complain.

OCA is prob a fine org but evidently they contracted out to a totally unscrupulous fundraising call company. these call companies are users and abusers. whenever I get a fundraising call in person I tell them I NEVER donate overthe phone only online cuz I may support the org but not telemarketing! I had a run in w similar folks
two years ago and found out they made calls not only for Mercy Cirp but for antiabortion groups, whoever paid 'em.

that said, these 402 Nebraska b*****ds can't even be called back. and other 402 area code
numbers are total scamsters. I hope the FCC shuts 'em down quick.

Organic Consumers Assoc. They area group really trying to good things. They need your support. They are trying to protect our right to eat quality organic food, not irradiated food, or food stuffed with fillers and crap. They also want to protect small farmers, farmers markets, and want to maintain food labeling so we know if we're eating quality or crap. Big Agriculture is a nasty business that doesn't care where our food comes from or what's in it. Support this group & their efforts or we'll all end up ill from lack of good food. I don't want to eat pesticides, do you?!!
