I get calls from this number asking for donations from Organic Consumers because I subscribe to them on line and  a member.What I dont know is that it is really them.I have talked to a girl at this number and believe it is them, but you can donate in a secure way online on the website.

I flippin' hate all of them, and there are soooo many, grrr.  I didn't answer.

Received a call from this number requesting a donation from some organic growers.

Asking to be taken off a call list does NOT work and I have tried that over & over, ad infinitum.  Organic Consumers Organization does NOT have my phone number by my choice, therefore IF they are the source of calls from this number then they are "fishing" and the organization goes down in my estimation for that tactic alone (otherwise I DO appreciate what that group is about).

I don't know why people are nearly going into hysterics about calls from the Organic Consumer's Fund. They are a legitimate organization and you or someone else opted you in to their contact list at some point. You apparently don't know anything about how the Do Not Call Registry works if you think complaining to the DNCR or reporting OCF to the FCC is the appropriate action.

It's really simple, folks: next time they call just tell them to take you off their call list. Done.

Yep, the OCA I of course get calls from them because I give them money sometimes. They are legit and they do a lot of good work for Organics!!!

I have talked to these people before. They are asking for donations... I dont know if its legit so... I dont answer any more.

My best idea on how to stop them is to simply tell them when they call you want to be removed from their calling list and tell them you are on a do not call list . (If you are on one or more . )

I'm on State and Federal Do Not Call List, and am constantly receiving phone calls from solicitors. It is my opinion that the "Do Not Call" lists are a joke !

Are you all sure that is the OCF?  Have any of  you contacted them or OCA or are you all just assuming.  Numbers can be changed for callers, it could be a scam or some thing else.  I wondered about this message to, but reading here I realized I may have given them my number when signing a petition.

I doubt that the OCA would allow OCF to call people if their number was not GIVEN to them.  If  you don't want your number called don't give it out.  

If you sign a petition in support of something give another number.  I use an internet number when I sign petitions online or off, not my personal number.  When you give your number to someone your allowing them to make calls regardless of being on a "Do Not Call List."  The Do Not Call List is for when someone calls you, and you never gave them your number.  Like when one company sells numbers to a phone bank, and that phone bank makes calls.  

It's doesn't work if you gave that organization your number, that's not what that's for.

It is legit - http://www.organicconsumers.org/ocf/.  They are the fundraising arm of the OCA.  http://organicconsumers.org/  Of course, like many other organizations, they can't get enough volunteers to make fundraising calls, so they hire a professional fundraising org to do the calling, thus the call center.  But it is legit.

I asked to be removed from call list.  I get calls from this company constantly.

If you have caller id you may also have a feature called block call on your phone.  You need to scroll through the menu on your phone to see if you have this feature.  If you do you just have to enter the number and these calls will be blocked.  You will only hear one ring and then nothing.  I have entered 5 numbers just today.  What fun!!

The caller ID say: OCA FUND....  We want them to STOP calling.

How do I stop these unwanted calls from OCF?

I am very pro- organic, but I am not sure this is a legit call.  I do not want calls.  Have been getting random phone calls at least once a week now.  This time they left a message.  Couldn't quite make out what it was wabout.  Sounded like a busy call center.  I do not recognize the company they call from.
