Multiple employees of our law firm have been receiving recorded calls from this company and we are very interested in speaking with anyone who has been contacted by this number on their cell phone. You may be legally entitled to make those calls stop and potentially receive financial compensation.

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act is a federal law that makes it illegal for a company to use an auto-dialer to make a call to a cellphone without the prior written consent of the recipient. Businesses are allowed to call consumers at home using an auto-dialer, but not your cell phone. If prior consent was given, it can easily be withdrawn.

If the caller violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, there?s a penalty of $500 for each call, and if the caller knows he is violating the law, as most do, the penalty is $1,500. While you don?t always know if the call is coming from an automatic dialer, one hint is if you answer the phone and there?s a moment of silence. During this period the call is most likely being transferred from the automated service to a live person.

I just got a call from this exact # but I did not answer, I rarely answer #'s I do not know. Good thing I looked up the # online. I thought it was a business hiring that I had recently applied to, but they usually leave a voicemail. When I didn't receive a voicemail I looked up the #. From what I read I decided to dial *67, & w/ no ring at all, it's says "sorry, this # is not in service." How is that possible when it just called me 5min ago.

I just got a call on my work cell phone from this number, but could not answer it as I was with a client.  I work for an insurance company in Omaha.  I interrupted her and told her this was a company cell phone and I work for an insurance company.  She offered to remove me from the call is and place the number on the do not call list.  We will see.

Yes, this just happened to me. It's bad enough on a land line, but robo calls on my cell cost money as well as interupt my day.

I got a call from the same number.  If they call me again and I am unable to pick up like  today, I will call them back and tell them the same thing I tell all of them.  I am on the do not call list.  I give them my phone number to take off their list and then tell them if they call me back I am reporting them to the FCC and they can just be fined $500.  I never get a call back from the same number after I say that, but I am sure that stupid company called Info USA is selling my number.  I am going to look up their number and call them too.  Why do I register my name on the do not call list and people still call.  So irritating.

Received a message from the 402-951-9732 and caller ID placed it in Bellevue, NE.  The message was something like this.  This is a Public Service Announcement.  If you have a NE drivers license you are overpaying on your car insurance.  Please Press 1 now to find out how you can lower your car insurance now or Press 3 now to be removed from this list.  I screen all calls through Caller ID and answering machine and I ignore items like this.  As the previous comments state, they want your information specifically your VIN #, and credit card number and voila you are instantly ripped off.  Most likely another scan artist intruding on our privacy.  I think I read somewhere if they use the robo dialer for this type of calls, they fall under the radar on the Do Not Call List as it is up to the consumer (meaning us) to decide whether to pick up the phone to speak with them, or to press 1 now to speak to someone, or to ignore this call.  By the way I ran this idea through my actual car insurance agent and she stated that if this were true, all insurance companies would have to notify the insured by letter, that this is no way true, and to stay away from answering this type of call and not to give out any personal information.  She did take the information I could give her from this voice mail and the phone number and was going to turn it over to Attorney General's Fraud Division and also the State Department of Insurance for further scrutiny and to see if they could catch the people behind this.

OMG! So this number called me, no voice mail. I immediately came here and checked the comments. I decided to call them back to find out some more info, specifically what company they are calling themselves. The message you get when you call back is pretty generic, but I hit "1" to talk to a rep. A girl named Savannah answered. I said "Hi Savannah, to what company am I speaking?" and she said "We are the Insurance Placement Group, we work with most of the major insurance companies. Would you like a quote" So I said "Well, I find that funny, because if you work with 'most' of the...." and it was at that point that she said "OK, GOODBYE" very rudely and hung up. It was funny! They don't want to answer any questions and don't like when you fight back. So I think we all should!

Robo call to my cell phone from "Motor Vehicle Division" concerning best insurance rates.(Costs me for time for each call). Rep said her company was "Auto Insurance Placement Center" . When questioned why she is calling a number on the DNC list, she offered to remove my number and hung up.

Same thing as everyone else...received call, but looked online and found these postings. Glad I looked, didn't call back. Don't need anymore unwanted calls.

received a call today... hung up so I called back and when I asked where they were they hung up.. called again and led them on with my supposed insurance needs and they kept telling me they were local.

I called back but was not connected to anyone.

Received the call on my business cell phone, they hung up so I called back thinking it might be a client, some jerk named Victor answered the phone, when asked what company he represented he did a screechy "What" and hung up.  Called back, some female answered, did the same thing.  Too bad I can't get more info on where they are if they are actually in Bellevue Nebraska, have some family that lives in the area, would like to stop in and say hi to the managers.

Left no message. I called number back and it was an automated answering system asking me if I wanted a quote for new car insurance.
