I got a call today that there was a problem with my credit cards - not really but I should call today to lower my rates.  Clearly a scam. When you press "3" to be put on their do not call list, you get the message again.P

They are now sending out "Pink" cards with 1-866-851-1249 telephone number with the same information as stated above from Sammy. There was no call from a company to me, just this pink card in my postal mail box.

I also received a call about my credit card and it went into voice mail.  This is the second time I received a call from these people. They have have nothing better to do with their time?  GET A JOB!!!

Did not answer.  They have called several times and I have not answered yet.  I do not answer any callers that I don't know.  I figure if it's important enough they will leave a message (which they never do)

These scumbags claimed there's a problem with my credit card. When I asked which one, the imbecile said "the one you use most". I laughed uncontrollably and asked if his IQ is one digit or 2 digits. The idiot hung up. Not too shabby, eh?

Identical message that I have been recieving from 804-234-9010. Information on Credit Card Debt. "Press 3 to opt out" does NOT work. It only sends them into a feeding frenzy. Pressed 3 and got 3 calls a day from them

I held to get a rep. to ask which company they were calling from and for who since it didn't state...I was hung up on...clearly a scam of some sort. I tried to call the number back and was only offered an option to remove myself from their call list...I would like to know WHO is calling

Same telemarketers that brought you:

c.Credit Card Discount
d.etc.

No ... these fraks do NOT care about the Do Not Call lists

Never give them any information or ever make a purchase through these thieves.

I don't answer calls from outside my area code...

I just pick up the receiver and then hang it right back up.

99.9 % of the time it is a telemarketer or a scam.

They wanted to refinance my credit card

CallerID will say Capital Services.  They call even when I have followed their do not call protocol.

What is especially strange is they say they are Google 411. They imply I must choose to put "my business" in Google 411 or not. By the end of the call they repeat the options and hang up.

What is very puzzling because this is a phone number, I never use.  I only choose it for my apartment building requires it to buzz people in after hours and when I checked into it AT&T internet was cheaper.

Now for work and all personal calls I have used Vonage. I say this because with in one weeked I just purchased several domains from Godaddy.com. Godaddy had a special free privacy for every domain so my number should not be given to anyone, right???

I called 402-982-0401 back and they only give you the option to be on the do not call list.

First time I called they said push "1"

Second time they called back it said push "2"

Third time push "2" and just before I wrote this it was push "1"

I would suggest do not answer and that they are just phishing for more information you would never want them to have!

Hey, this company called me to consolidate credit card debt.  But first, they needed my private information... People, this is Fraud- if anyone call you from this number hang up.

This number (4029820401) called us today stating they were selling 411 listings on Google, when I asked who they were the man hungup!

I got a call with a recorded message that was an offer for my business to be listed in Google's business directory. I was given the option to press 1 or 2 and I just hung up.

Then I dialed *69 to get the number of who called me and a strange recording said it was "612-855-3650". I decided to check it again, so I hung up, dialed *69 and got the normal recording and it said the number was 402-982-0401. They seem to be waiting for you to hang up, then they play what seems to be a dial tone. If you dial *69 they play a fake recording for another number so you can't report them. This confirms my experience that report any junk calls works.

This seems like a scam to me, I would not trust it and you can report any call where they play a recorded message to the FTC at 1-888-382-1222. It really helps to stop the calls, try it an you will see!!!

Ive been call numerous times by this number.  Its a scam.

i recieved a call as a "public service announcement" saying i could have my credit completely cleared- i have recieved a lot of calls from this number and have submitted my number to the do not call list (when you call back it gives you that option) but they keep calling, with different things at random. i have no idea who the company is- they didnt tell me that. when i asked to be removed, they simply hung up on me and when you call the number back, it does not allow incoming calls (except for the do not call option wich is obviously fake too)

This is the third time within three days that I've received a call from this number and every time I pick up no one answers and they quickly hang up.

Got a call from this number on my cell, says it is from Omaha NE, at 9:21am pacific 04/30/2010.  Did NOT answer and it doesn't appear that they left voicemail.  I love this site, at least we can all share our frustration ;)  It really bugs me that I have started getting calls like this on my cell phone.  At least it is not as bad (yet?!) as my home phone, I have the home phone unplugged and check voicemail twice a day, tired of all the calls between 5a-7p every day.

Got a call today from this number and a recording saying "if you want to be listed on Google's 411 service" please press 1. I did and a person got on and would not identify the company or give me a call back number.

These people are running a scam. I am a telemarketer myself and have tried to get them to remove the number from their list. They are working under cover and without a license because a REAL company will remove your number from their list when you ask. I have threatened them with complaints to the DOA and Ag for the state of Florida and they just hang up. If you want to be removed from their list then you will have to file a complaint with your states DOA or Attorney General. Then if they keep calling you then you can PROCEED WITH LEGAL ACTION against them.

I don't recognize the number on the caller ID, I don't answer.

Seems like since I put my number on the "do not call list", I get more of these calls than before!
