I get calls and hung ups from this number

Two calls within the last two days to my home phone. Caller ID says "Circulation Department." Didn't answer it.

Whoever this is keeps calling my home phone. I do not answer because I do not recognize it, however, they do not leave a message. I've tried to return the call, but it says the number is out of service and to check the number and try again.  They call from 6 AM until 11-12 at night.  Obviously, the number is a working number because they keep calling my home and I want it stopped.  On my caller ID, along with the number, it also says Service Message.

We have to laugh, they keep calling our office, each time they do, we are tracing their call. each time they call, we build a record.  This cat and mouse game they will loose.

Keep the calls coming fools.

They hung up when auto-answer kicked in.  Also on Do Not Call List.

This idiot has called two to three times per day for two days now. No reverse lookup available, other than that, citistream Communications is the provider, it is a land-line, & that the call is apparently coming out of Omaha, NE., Douglas County. They simply call & hang up...over & over. If you return the call, no matter which number I've called from, the message denotes that it is an inactive number. Sould have their A#! kicked up around their necks!!!!!!!!!!!!

i do not want these people calling my phone. They don't leave any message they just hang up i really don't have time for these things.

i got this phone number on my phone today and i dont know who it is. i just go onto the google and type in who it is. and i got this message instead. i dont answer my phone unless i know who it is so they just can just play there little games and know i know not to answer.

Called me but didnt answer. But I will next time. I'm putting all these scamers under special names on my phone and im going to mess with them and wast there time.

If I can find out which magazine they're trying to (re)sell me then I'll cancel that magazine...

Called my cellphone telling me I won a 1000$ gift certificate to buy whatever I want at any store. And when i asked for this supposed "Website" this crazy b***h was talking about, She acted like i never asked her then kept asking for my personal information.

The just called here.  Caller ID first said Circulation Dept. and then said unknown.  I didn't pick it up. We had just renewed our numbers on the Do Not Call list last week.  How annoying!

They- "The Circulation Desk-" suddenly began to call me from the number in question up to 5 times a day. I have let all calls go straight to voicemail, because I knew if I googled the number which shows up on caller i.d., I would find out it was a scam!

Today, August 24, 2010 at 10:29 AM PST I received a call (Duration 08:25) from a telemarketing company saying that I was chosen as a recipient for a $1000 online shopping spree. I spoke to a lady named Karen(if that was her real name) and she asked me for my age (19) and occupation (student with no lines of credit). She basically told me that in order to qualify for the shopping spree I had to purchase a *free* 5 magazine subscription. According to her, the magazines were free but I had to assist with the shipping which was 3.83/wk (I'm not sure if it was per magazine or the bundle of 5 but I wouldn't be surprised if it were the former, amounting to $19.15/wk) which they would charge me monthly for. She then told me that I would be transfered to her supervisor to collect my debit card information.

After being on hold for a minute or two, the supervisor picked up and asked me if Karen had explained everything to me in a polite manner and I told her yes. She then asked me if I had any more questions before she collected my card info and I asked her how long the subscription would last before I was allowed to cancel. She dodged a direct answer by saying that I couldn't cancel the subscription but rather reassign my subscription to their "vast collection of over 300 magazines." I then reiterated my question to which she reluctantly slurred "the subscription is 5 years." At this point I told her that I was a student and that money was hard to come by. She told me have a good day and proceeded to swiftly hang up the phone before I could tell her to remove me from their calling list.

*Note: At no time during this transaction did the company disclose their name which is a federal crime.

I am getting called by this number daily and no messages.. caller id shows the id as "circulation desk" that is not enough info for me to answer the phone and go thru another solititation call.
I have been getting calls from wierd numbers starting in just hte last 8 months or so.... not sure why it happened but I am tired of it and would like it to quit!!
Since a lot of cell phones now use skype could this be a way for them to not to pay for long distance or something???? it sucks.. they call every day about 3 times!
I was told by one place that the supreme court lifted the soltitation calls as long as the people were not calling specifically about an issue. It is scary how much these people can find out about you so quickly!

I don't know who this is that keeps calling; but it's becoming a hassel.

every day, several times a day. when answered nobody speaks. when my answer machine comes on, no message left. today I picked up phone, caller said it was about my TV GUIDE subscription. I don't have TV Guide...I am with DISH-TV.

these people are scam artists, they called me and tried to get me to renew a subscription and said I owed money and the account, when i told him that my dad bought me the subscription and i didn't have an account with this "manny" person. He hung up. Then called back a few days later trying the same scam like i was going to forget. This guy is a scam artist big time

Call at noon where I pressed 1 for Do NOT Call,which I am already on.  And then another call at 6 P.M. central June 15, 2010.   Will follow through on appropriate channels to stop calls.

We get repeated calls from them for renewing our Popular Science magazine.  I have asked to be removed from their call list, am on the DMA do not call list, and have called them back and automoatically get their "if you wan tot be removed from our list within 72 hours" recording.  Apparently they don't remove because I've done it twice already.  When I started asking questiosn this time the supervisor started getting nasty and rude to me on the phone and then hung up (like the last few times!). Apparetnly they are told to not give out any info.  Next time I think i am goign to go about it differently and pretend I am interested and see what info I can get out of them.  i am TOO sick of being abused on my own phone from them!

They try to sell tv guide. I called tv guide and they said no company is allowed to sell tv guide except their tv guide company and they do not call people for subscriptions. This is an annoying bunch of people who need to be stopped and put in jail.

Called twice today and other days. I reported it to the do not call registry as all our numbers are listed there.

Giving a credit card number to someone that calls you is truly dumb.
Hopefully you learned a valuable lesson. If the husband had the CC how
was the charge made w/o it? Makes no sense. Contact your CC company
immediately and have them make a charge back. You might have to send a
letter but you should be okay.

Saw this number on missed calls several times.  When I did answer they were telling me to renew my subscription to OUTDOOR LIFE.  I asked when our subscription ended and she told me they usually receive their orders to call about 3 or 4 months before the subscription ends.  She told me the magazine company was getting ready to raise the rate substantially, and that I could renew for 1/2 that price at $72 for three years.  She pressured me wanting credit card information to seal the deal.  My husband wasn't home and he had the card so she agreed to send me a statement.  My husband hit the roof when the statement came, as he had renewed in June of 09 for three years at $45.00.

This is so annoying!!!  Calls all the time.  Won't answer because of caller ID, however, it still disturbs the household!
