I've been getting calls from different numbers on my cell phone and so has my husband.  They are just like everyone else is getting, my car warranty is about to expire!  They are getting really old.  This is the 2nd time today they've called the other number is 608-935-0835.

Yeah I don't know what this company is trying to accomplish here cause all they say when I pick up the phone is "Would you like your name removed from the calling list?" WTF!!! Just like any other telemarketing crap, this is annoying cause they call at least once a week.

Hey- I just had the same thing happen and answered because it's within my area code.  It's a scam, they're just trying to get your information. Basically, they just pick a random residential number and that's what comes up on your caller ID although it is not the actual number calling you.  Do not give them your information over the phone.  Anything that has to do with a legitimate warranty goes through dealerships and you would be contacted via email or letter.

I got a call from this number on my cell. I did not pick it up, and they did not leave a message.  Too bad they are starting to dial cell phones!!

I am fed up with these guys, at least once a month I get a phone call from either this number or other similar, I just don't bother answering anymore, if it's important they will leave me a voice mail.

I have gotten several calls from this number and it really is annoying and aggravating because THEY WON"T STOP!!!  Wish there was something we could do about it!

This number, among many others, has called several times. For me this occurring on a recently purchased Virgin mobile prepaid cell phone, which is serviced by Sprint. After several calls to various areas within Sprint, I was told that Sprint routinely and regularly sells "newer" activated cell numbers to many different direct marketers, thus making Sprint more profitable at someone else's expense and usage cost/minute. There needs to be a law or litigation to stop this criminal practice by Sprint in conjunction with Virgin.

This is the second time I've gotten a call from this number I don't recognize the number so I don't answer it.

Just got a phone call from this number. I have Verizon service. They left a message about renewing my warranty on my car. I haven't owned a car in over three years...I'm assuming this a scam unless someone got me a present!

Calling me repeatedly in Michigan on different lines. Definitely a scam of some kind as ALL of my phone numbers are DO NOT CALL, unlisted, unpublished, etc.  Not to mention, I talked to them once about my supposed about-to-expire warranty ...  They didn't even know who I was.  They tried to solicit that information from me.  Once they have your name, they can pull up registrations in your home state.  I gave them my maiden name and predictably they offered me a warranty on my Ford Escort which was scrapped in 2004.  Totalled.  Complete scam.

This number called me at 9:06 am also on March 21. I received a similar call yesterday. I haven't looked into it much, but whatever these people are doing isn't legitamite. Don't bother calling back. You could try blocking the number, but in my case its a slightly different number each time.

Been called by them twice. I'm going to head over to my local Police department and ask a few questions about phone harassment charges. I know I haven't been called enough times or answered to tell them to stop calling me but it would still be some good info to know about just in case I'm able to do something.

got a call 3/30 @ 10.58am.  I didn't answer because I don't like to answer if I don't know the number and especially the area code.  At 12.46pm I got another call from a608-935-0835.  I noticed both numbers seem to belong to these warranty car scams.

I received a call from this number 11:59 Pacific time.  Even though I put cell phone on "Do not call listing" from the government.

Call on my cellphone on 3/28.  I accidently picked up and hung it up very quickly heh.  I just want to know where these calls are originating from.  I've heard organizations can call you from out of country and send your carrier a ridiculous charge for just a minute.

Got it yesterday but with a twist. Few days before my wife received a letter saying her car (doesn't have one) warrenty would expire. The phone call (to the cell phone) left a voice mail saying same thing. Call back to raise Hades but msg said "press 1 to get taken off the mail list". Did not do it because had no idea what would really happen. Cell phone info has "No Name"

i have a prepaid phone and dont know how these ppl are gettin my number and wish them to stop.  they always use up my minutes of unwanted nonsence.  i dont own anything so there is no need for a warranty

I have 6 missed calls from them in the last week.

Received a phone call from this number. Claimed to be Unity Financial Advisors. Wanted me to invest in a fund with an 8% dividend in writing. I told him to send me information in mail. I checked anywho.com reverse look-up and no listing was found. Googled phone number and it seems this number is involved in multiple "business models".

I got a call from thsi number today -- yeah, 402 is Omaha NE -- and they left an automated message wanting me to take a survey, because my responses could "save our country".  OMG. Now the effers are leaving *messages* and costing me minutes.  Bad enough that they call and pester me at all hours ... now they're stealing my minutes!!!!  It's enough to make ya wanna throw your phone under a bus!

I was called by this number a few times.  I have looked into it and it is a company that works with bill collectors to see if your number is still active.  This allows collectors to know if they still have active info to you.  If you pick up or call it back to be blocked from their call list, you are giving the collectors info that your number is still in service and that your trail is still "fresh"

Call from this number to my cell in southern CA. didn't answer

I get the call almost everyday.   Ive tried everything to have them stop calling,  but to no avail.  

Now,  everytime they call,  I tell them that I AM interested in purchasing the warranty.  I then ask the representative to give me details.   As they explain everything,  I leave the phone and go make a sandwhich and do other things around the house,  occasionally asking them to repeat the last thing they said or making some inane comment.   Anything to just waste their time.  After sufficient time,  i'll blast my radio into the phone,  usually playing AC/DC or Metallica or some other loud music.  

Eventually,  they hang up.
I know this is all childish and serves no purpose,  but I do feel like I scored a victory

I got a call on my cell at 2:25pm March 21.  I didn't pick up; I have been getting a lot of "robot" telemarketing calls about the warranty coverage on my car expiring soon. It would be irritating enough if the warranty was expiring, but my car's been out of warranty for 3 years or so.
