Need to find out who it is.

The federal government pays in 30days if they issue a Purchase Order and your bill and the PO amounts match.  They normally paid my company on time exactly.  It is why the demand best price because the feds pay quite well. You just can not make a bunch on their work because what you charge em is public info and your competition can find out what you charged, and if you are in a competitive business, can under bid you.

State and local governments on the other hand are uneven payers, but some are very good and others are awful. They also want the best price even when they pay poorly, because they will pay eventually.  If your state has a budget, and you have a PO you will get paid pretty quickly because they do not issue PO without budget authorization to spend money.  If your state does not have a budget, or it is reported that the state is having cash flow issues, all bets are off when you'll get paid even with a PO.  At least with the government unlike a failing private business, there is public information around that will let you know what is going on.  If a private business is failing, you have to rely on your wits and Dun and Bradstreet to tell you if should grant credit.

definitely a scam on small business,  for a subscription, they either tell you about or make your name available to purchasing agents at federal agencies.  Promise to "help" you get federal purchasing.  These kinds of marketing companies have been around forever and mostly want to relieve your small business of money.  They make no performance promise which is why they are a scam.  Obama has nothing to do with it, they were around under Bush Clinton and Bush too.  In my industry, you either have to make an effort to sell to local federal sites which works best and takes time, or join a specialized procurement consultant who makes modest performance promises and gives you feed back on what the winning bid was in the past or will be around in their experience.

Smelled fishy right away, then I smelled Obama stink as soon as I saw the logo and the thumbs up lefty loser sheeple in their add.

Somewhat confused caller.  Same as above.  They had an opening that I could snap up if I move in the next 72 hours.  I didn't like what I had heard to this point, so I told her I didn't like the 72 hour part, I'm not interested and I hope you have a great day.  Her reply was..."Ignorance is bliss, sweetheart".  I must say...she was a bit forward with the ?sweetheart??we just met.

telemarketing trying to get me to give them money to put me on a list so the Federal government could by from me

Live operator asking for the person who is responsible for doing business with the government, then without waiting for the reply, asked if we were a small business.  I have a feeling that if I answered anything that could be considered as "yes" we would have received a bill.

Same as the people above asked for owner (which is me) tried to pitch me about geting on list to work for Federal Government...Told him already do work for government..He just hung up on me...Pitch man's name was Jason Stark..if that was his real name...I would beware of this comapny

How rude, they call me to ask who sets up contracts and when they dont hear what they want they hang up on you.  Great way to be a telemarketer!  With that kind of attitude they probably do work for O'bama!

On phone with this guy for 5 minutes he pitched getting on a government job list for $500. to $1300.
He became irate when I gave him my address...  I told him it was Obama St  LoL...
Had the nerve to tell me I wasted his time then threatened me saying that he was with the Gov't  
 I told him the Gov't can kiss my a**...  Damn that was fun!

It cost $500.00 to get on there list for government agencies to contact you to do business with.The girl who called me said all the same stuff as previously mentioned I asked so what's the bottom line how much cuz she said she had to qualify our company with 12 questions first and yada yada yada. I said sorry not interested or send me an email (they don't send emails to sell stuff) It's just BS. BTW I don't believe the government pays anyone that quickly ever without paperwork, even with paperwork it takes 30 to 90 days to collect.

talk about bs!! tells us that the gov't is doing away with the paper work on construction jobs and will pay next day,.,...apparently, this guy doesn't have a clue.  Just another telemarketer trying to sell something they don't even know how to do!  Just keep them on the line and waste their time!  Since it's a boiler room set up, pretty soon they'll have a phone bill larger than they can afford to keep!!!

It's the Federal Procurement Agency, they get people who own businesses and they to get them to do business with them. Telemarketers totally.
