I get atleast 5 calls a day, everyday from this #. One day they even called me at 9:15 pm eastern time. Isn't it illegal to do phone solicitation calls that late?

I received this call at 10 am.  A recording in a female business voice said it was attempting to contact me because I initiated a loan modification request and needed to complete the process.  Then it wanted me to press "1" if my loan payment was already late.  

The call never identified itself, but I thought it was the mortgage lender since I had discussed the same topic previously.

When I pushed the "1" button, a guy answered and seemed impatient while asking for my loan details.  I asked him to produce proof as my lender, he simply laughed and hung up.

I got a call from this number around 9:30 this morning. I let the phone ring because I didn't feel like getting up and then dialed *69 and got this number repeated to me. Whoever this is must have a lot of numbers in their arsenal because I got a call on my cell with the same area code and 982 number as this one.

The automated system that calls is possibly a scam artist or organization seeking to prey on unsuspecting homeowners or even for your auto by placing you in these phony warranties and especially refinancing or stop foreclosure schemes. Ignore these calls and block them through your phone service or your subscriber services menus. The government or any valid lending institution, (9 times out of 10) won't "phish" for business like this. If you call the number back thereafter you probably get "spam" E-Mails and other bogus calls, because the system records your information, watch subscription services that seem like scam offers via E-Mail, don't give you E-Mail address out too freely. There are people and organizations looking to prey on you because of your suspected current or potential financial situation. If you do have a problem with your home/auto - call your lender, HUD and/or a new legitimate/govt. approved/backed lender and go to the .gov websites to find help! I hope the FEDS investigate this number and others like it.

United Sch ?? that is what my called ID shows , same thing , ask a stupid Question , get a stupid answer .. you think some one there would be smart enough to know , people get mad when someone calls and does not say anything ....Maybe its just me ???

This # must be an auto dialer, I work form home and see the # on my caller ID alot. They never leave a message, I did call back and the system said If I no longer want to be called press 1, it did, 150,000,000 in a row!!!! LOL

They've called my "on-call" phone for the funeral home, no message, when I call back, its a nice message asking if I want to be removed ( of course, it doesn't work if you arent on the live call)
how many texts and ads do I have to pay for before I getfed up, get rid of my cell phone and change occupations?!?!?
i bet if we all went to pages, the cell phone companies would figure out a way to find them and stop them.  To bad I can't call them back, but I do have Longitude and latitude, maybe I'll pay them a visit someday, while I'm out of work.. hee hee

These bastards keep calling, sometimes 5 times a day...I just programmed the number in to my cell, and called it HANG UP ON ME.  Pricks!

I also get calls from this number, now 3-4 time DAILY on my cell phone. Every time I answer there is no-one on the other end and the call terminates moments after I answer. When i call back, I get the same msg as above "Thanks for calling... press 1... Blah blah blah.

clld, wanting me to join in on the band wagon for property taxes, that the time was near.  I could not wait to listen to all that Ga Ga.  

It was probabally that "extended warranty" company that was calling people about 2 months ago and got popped.

These clowns call and call. Seems to be no end to it.

Called me 3 times in one hour.  No message.

Auto warranty about to expire.  They call 4 or 5 times a day from different phone numbers.  Same recording.  I've told them not to call...well, you know how the story goes.

I called this number back and it said "Thank you for calling back. If you would not like to receive future calls regarding our future promotions......blah blah, press 1" So I pressed 1 and it said "thanks" then disconnected. It did not give a name of the company.

They have been calling me everyday too, but I do not pick up.
I put my phone on the national do NOT call list.  I have about 2 more weeks to wait to complain.  Hopefully this will put an end to these harrassing calls.

Can't the FCC or other gov't people (Obama?) shut these companies down for this?

Called me twice today.  If it's not in my area code, I don't answer it.  If they want me bad enough, they'll leave me a message.

get calls from them all the time on my work cell phone.
I wish I could answer it one day and arrange to meet them.
I bet they would never harass me again.
Why am I PAYING for this? maybe its time to go back to the pager and avoid these a***s who think its ok to bother me, but not for ME to call THEM.  hmmm.  yes, I think I'll go visit. they'd better hope someone guards their info. better than they guarded mine.

Called my office phone. Caller ID said Unavailable. Since it's my office phone, I have no choice but to answer. It was a recorded message, apparently offering mortgage relief. I only listened for a few seconds before hanging up.

Called my home phone 5/1/09 at 9:36 AM.  Caller ID said Service Announcement.  I didn't answer - never answer #s I don't know.  They didn't leave a message.

I called the number and it has an outgoing message amswering as "BATS"

no msg just another unwanted call from and unidentified caller. We need teekie support to come up with some type of device that we can use to block all of these unwanted calls after the first ring. That would be enough to stop them from the repeat calls.
