Has anyone used the website link listed above, in an attempt to stop these calls? Has anyone notified their carrier of this number? Just curious. Trying to find an end to it myself.

oh wow, i'm surprised to see so many threads for this number! i just got a call from this number on my cellphone but i missed it so i googled the number (since i don't know anyone from Nebraska)and this thread came up! maybe we should email all our friends/family to avoid answering calls from this number.

This number has appered several times on my cell phone as a missed call.  They called again -- and finally left a message.  It was an automated recording about "coverage" for my vehicle. I do not even own a car!

Talked to an operator who claims his company is called Warrantee Services

Just called me, I Didn't Answer, No message left.

I've been getting calls for the last two months. They are harassing me, they won't stop calling, trying to send vouchers.  They claim to have my credit card and debit cards.  When i called back their number 6262079183.  I got the same message as you all have been getting.  Be careful, if you ask for their supervisor they hang up on you.  It has to be some sort of scam.

Called me at work, and did not leave a message. Called back and a message said "if you do not wish to receive calls about our special deals press 1 to have you number removed from our list".

I got a new phone number back in December and the first call I get is this 402 number. I've been getting it ever since, when they call and I do pick up they hang up and when I call back it gives me the option to press 1 to remove me from the list ( which I have done 9 times already in the past 7 weeks) and nothing happens. They still call me. Is there a lawyer in here???

Got already at least a dozen calls from this number, most of the time they don't leave a message, at other times that refer to an expiring warranty (there is none). I wish these spammers could be stopped. I don't want to be bothered by those people. I am adopting a policy to take only calls from numbers I know.


PS: It seems that Nebraska and Georgia are among the states from which particularly high number of spam calls originate. Is it their state law or missing regulation that attracts scammers to operate from their.

I just noticed a missed call from this number, so I googled it and this is what I found. Its so weird because earlier this morning I had a missed call from a restricted number. I'm just going to block it so whoever is scamming people cant reach me

Warranty scam

Called this number back after is showed up as service announcement on my caller i.d.
Recorded message  advised me to go to LoveMyPets.com, for a penny auction where everyone
is a winner,  I did get to press 1 to delete my number, however, they are a non-profit
organization and exempt from the Do Not Call list.

Just had a call from these a**es.  No one on the line.  The caller id says 'Processing Dep'.  Another scammer.   And we are on the Do Not Call registry.  I wish the government would shut these people down.

If I don't know who is calling...I get a real person on the phone and say nothing.  I will just scream the loudest blood curling scream I can manage, smile then hang up.  Yeah it probably doesn't do much but boy do I feel much better.  Maybe the person will think twice before calling the next person.  That is if they can hear when I'm done!

I just love this website, i got a call from this number and researched it on here. They called back later than night and I just started screaming curse words into the phone, anythign i could think of off the top of my head. They haven't called back in a week, haha.

Citistream Communications (a.k.a Larson Parker, Larson amp, Affinity Marketing) and it's owner, Krishna Amancherla, and this number, 402 982 **** and others. are apparently well known to the public services in Omaha. There are multiple complaints and investigations going on now as of March 2010. Citistream is a bogus company, posing as a phone company among other fraudulent businesses. (Interestingly, their office address is one block from the Qwest offices in Omaha - I am now paying for a call rejection feature via Qwest because of Citistream Communications.?) The Omaha authorities say he is not a phone company, or a telemarketer. They aren't apparently entirely sure what he does.
