Service Message* thats how these companies who don't want you to know who it is calling you get around the 'private' calls block..they put something dumb like 'service message' as the 'name'

I hit the redial button and they said, "If you wish not to receive calls from this number( or something like that) hit 1"... I did. Let's see what that does. These calls are amazingly intrusive, though I must admit they do not call at off hours and it's not as horrid as the "Timeshare" calls.

originally didn't think there was anybody at the other end, but after a second got an older-sounding woman spouting off about some services offered.  i hung up, so not sure if a message or what.   from the other posts, if this is the tea party, they may have gotten my number because i contributed to a republican candidate.  i also contributed to a democratic candidate so get calls from that side as well.  i ask anybody who calls to take my name off the list, but i still get calls.  this is the first time i donated to a political party, and am very sorry i did!  at least i shouldn't have given them my phone or address.

Got a call from this number on my son's cell, when he brought it to me I and anwered it and there was nothing but silence.

Just got this this afternoon, said "We are calling because we are concerned about people coming into this country. Please educate yourself about illegal immigration. Thank you.

No identification, just this message.

Reverse call look up says it's unpublished but in Omaha, Nebraska.  If it comes in again, I'm going to get a block on it.

Phone rang two or three times and when I answered it I got a dial tone. I hit *69 and was told what the number was. Usually these kinds of calls say "caller ID blocked". Rather annoying.

This number and the people should be take and locked up.

Who is this crackpot? When you dial *69, the recorded message says that the number isn't a working one? How can that be when they've just called you. His fingers should fall off before he makes these calls. I guess they're letting them out of the psychiatric wards more frequently.
               Something has to be done with these nut jobs. The phone company has to be cognizant of its responsibilities to customers. There is no reason why they should say that this number doesn't exist when someone has just used it to call you.

Just said service message and did not leave one.

PIcked up on third ring.  Voice on other end but clearly busy with another call.  Voice never responded to several attempts to initiate dialogue.

Receive calls daily. Called back once and received a message to slect 1 if I didnt want to receive these calls any longer. Acknowledged, but they didnt stop (surprise!).

Apparently Sure Sale Auto Scammers got kicked out of Las Vegas and now is spamming using the 402 area code, Nebraska.  Auto Trader has sued this company repeatedly for scamming Auto Trader customers.

Caller are desperate low-paid(commission only) scumbags from one of these BS market your auto companies.  They will lie to you and tell you they have a buyer for your car.  They spam Auto Trader and Craigslist ads.  They will lie about having buyers, financing, marketing, websites, etc., anything to get you to give them your credit card number so they can charge you for non-existent marketing services.  They also do not follow the law and call numbers on the National Do Not Call List.  They also do NOT maintain a Federally Required Do Not Call List internally.  Asking them to put you on their Do Not Call List will get you nowhere.   These scumbags will call back again and again and again to harass you.  Avoid these frauds !

2 more calls today. F U C K Off you a**les, quit calling

Fukheads have called me 2 more times today and hang up when you answer.

A***oles have called me 2 more times today and I keep telling them to put me on their do not call list.

F'ing spammers keep calling me ever other day.  My number is registered with the National Do Not Call List and these a**les keep calling.

Just got call 11:16 AM on my home phone...from 402-982-0742.  When I answered I hear "I want to talk to you about "Our BORDERS"  - when you press any # the idiots start talking about politic crap!  OK use the internet people if you get these call.  search on google and report the suckers. Also 411.com is a good help on searching the reverse - just plug in the phone number.
These people who are calling from 402-982-0742 are in Omaha NE calling from Douglas county on a land line provided by Citistream Communications!
