Just got a call from this number - No answer, they just hung up.  Very sketchy.

Merchant Capital robocalls us repeatedly to try sell us some business grant nonsense and I keep asking them to stop calling us and ask to be taken off their calling list, but they get very rude and swear and argue with me telling me that they can keep calling me as long as they want even if we are on the do not call list.

These people are from a company called Merchant Capital.  Pressing 9 does nothing, but rather entertains them, only to have them call back within 5 minutes.  Even speaking to a live rep - I spoke to Michael - does nothing to have them adhere to FEDERAL LAW.  I have asked to be removed from their call list and I have pressed 9 each time they call.  As they think this is a joke and amuse themselves by hanging up on me when I ask to be removed, I will now move forward with taking actions against them.  They created these laws for a reason.  Perhaps they will need a business grant if we all MAKE them adhere to the law and they start getting fined for their violations...

Merchant Capital called us again today, same robocall scam about credit card rates.

this is a complete scam - I have asked them numerous times to stop calling and they just swear or scream at you and keep calling, the 402-982-0897 phone number is spoofed so there is no way to find out who is really behind this.

Got a call from this number.  Had a generic automated call about lowering my interest rates.  It sounded very sketchy because no card or bank name was mentioned but since they had my number I was curious.  

I pressed 1 to get more info and when the operator answered, she asked if I was interested in a lower interest rate and I asked what card this was for and then she hung up on me immediately without even saying anything.  

I called back and got a pre-recorded message giving the option to be removed from future marketing, but not even the choice to talk to an operator.  Again no company name, very shady, definitely some sort of scam.

These DIRT BAGS call on a regular basis. We automatically dump them into voice jail. They never leave a message, as they are as hideous, sneaky, sinister, and deceptive as Osama, Obama?oh, well, we all know one and the same thing, lie thru their teeth like Nancy Pelosi, and have the scruples of femo-Nazi?s, or an alley cat. Mind you, I full well realize I just offended the cat.

If you look online for Merchant Capital the Results are about 1,190,000 with a Google search. Has anyone found which Merchant Capital cooperate office that is linked to the 402-982-0897? If there is another number such as an 887...800...866 if so that would be the number to call and request to be removed from their calling list that might stop the calls. But if Merchant Capital is contracting out their telelmarketing to some telemarketing service contractor and I would bet they have more than one company they hire to do their telearketing for them then they would have to be notified as well.

On July 27,09 got a call wanting to lower my card interest rate and lower my debt.

I simply hung up when I heard her say my credit card debt.  I knew then she was looking for a response and sign up.  Do not respond to them, Hang up report them.  This all has come to light since the Credit Card and the Banks have been an issue as to debts and interest.

If money is tight and the banks are having problems stop and think how can they rewrite anyones debts even a mortage if the money is not there.  

Its time to wake up and do not be taken in.

I would suspect this was an unwanted call.
