Just found who holds this number. Telus Anonymous Caller ID service. Why are they phoning me? WEIRD.

Got home to find our caller display showed 310-8682 no other numbers. Guessed it was going to be 403-310-8682. From all these comments, glad I looked here. Will now add number to blocked caller list.

403-310-8682 called at 11:05 pm on a friday night!  caller id came up as anonymous.  rang 4 times.  didnt pick up/answer.  TELUS Comm. usually starts with a 310 number.  have no idea why they would call at that hour.  not cool.

heard voices in background, accent not Canadian.  sounds like "should I..." and is gone.  who are you?  are you qualifying accounts?

all I get is a beeping sound on my answering machine.  it says international call and has no area code on my caller id.

Just got a call from this number from a "Nathan Stevens".  He asked me if I remembered him, and that I had called for help with my computer and that he was calling me back.  I told him I had now idea what he was talking about.  He was persistent that he was Microsoft Certified and that he needed to help me with my computer before I started having major issues.  I called him a fraud an he hung up.

This number was for person by the name of Paul responding to our land for sale ad on Kijji. He said he was from a community not far from us.  A friend of ours also had a call from him about their land.

Get frequent calls from this number. Since it looks fishy, I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

This is a scam - its is someone from India trying to get your information posing as someone from Microsoft.  Somehow the number is comingup like it is Telus and its not.

If you are subscribed to TELUS and you have the calling feature Anonymous caller ID and get a call that shows up on your call display as "ANONYMCALLERID' and the number displaying as 310 8682, it's because the caller is calling 'UNKNOWN' or 'OUT OF AREA' so the callers are prompted to state their name. Once their name has been stated, the call is directed to the subscriber's line.  The subscriber can answer the call or allow the call to go to voice mail or a network announcement. PRIVATE and UNKNOWN callers who do not state their name when prompted will be disconnected.

My parents are trying to call me from Nova Scotia using the Skype to landline feature (because their long distance is soooo expensive) and that number keeps coming up as blocked on my phone.  My handset won't let me unblock it and Telus needs an area code to help me.  May suggestions?

I got a call from 310-8682 and  the name came as INTERNAT'L CALL no one talks, but they keep calling me please help.

I recieved a call from 310-8682, it asked in a computer voice if I would accept a call (Collect?) from a name I didn't hear. It could be a person trying to make a call out from a province of Alberta Jail/Lockup as the "310"-XXXX is a toll free access for within Alberta, it could also be a ruse to get you to reset you remote message password and this way they could hack your phone....can't confirm this but just a hunch.

i have received 2 phone calls from this number, only it appears without an area code. Would really like to know who this number is.

Keep receiving calls from this number, person leaves no message.  Unfortunately, we don't even receive an area code, to indicate where this person was calling.

Various companies call using this number, the same 'fake id' with different faces. When I've called back to have my number removed from the list, the recording says 'Welcome to the Telus Calling Feature Assistant, please choose a password...' and you can't do anything. How do I get rid of this annoying caller/callers??

Several calls today from 310-8682 - no area code shown but assume it is my area code.  Anonymous caller.  I did not answer but left it for the answering machine.  All answering machine calls were blank.

This number keeps appearing on my phone.  NO idea who it is or why they don't leave a message.

This number appeared on my call display, and when I answered they said I had a long distance call but didn't give a name who it was from, just to press pound.  I didn't do that, but called Telus and talked to an agent, but he only said to call back if I get another call from that number.  What is going on here? Is it possible someone is able to have our phone lines opened to add long distance calls to it?

The 310-prefix designates a province-wide phone number in Alberta (i.e. there's no area code).

From the entries I've read, this caller is running a credit card phishing scam.  Don't fall for it.

The number shows up when it is a telemarketer calling. It shows up like this if you have blocked anonymous callers. The link below is from the Telus website explaining.
