NEVER pick up an international call! You get charged at LEAST $50 just for doing so! Let them go to voice mail; at least then you have a chance of getting the charges removed!

Same thing just happened to me - I called back and the number is no longer in service... Disconnected withing 2 minutes?  I think not...

Missed the call called back 5 mins later and it said this number is not in service

I just received a call from this number . I live in montreal so she said she was conducting a survey for Concordia university for their journalism department. I said no and hung up.

We never answer any "800" numbers.

This is a ROBO-CALL number. Any firm can send out calls from this number.

It may be the same one that Stephen Harper and his conservatives used the last election day to divert voters from the pools across Canada.!!!

Have been receiving calls from this number at different times over several days.  Today, I decided to answer to bring this to a stop.  Was told it was a survey on the Gas Pipeline.  I asked who was conducting the survey ... same answer.  I asked who was actually paying the bill for the survey ... hesitation and same answer.  I then said that I wanted to be taken off the call list and not to be called again ... to which she responded that I could not do that.  Interesting...

when I call it back says I called a number that is not in use.

Do not call list is a joke this number called today didn't anser.One more new number calling me just what I kneeded. Thanks (do not call list) there funding shood be cut off it's not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call 5 min ago, came up as International on the call display. Picked it up and no one was there.

I got the call at 2:15 PM but no message left.  If it was Wildrose, I wouldn't be surprised as they have called me almost every day during the campaign and 5 times last Saturday.  Do I need to say who didn't get my vote today?  And the area around my polling station had many Wildrose campaign signs that should have been taken down on Sunday.  Funny how the Wildrose likes to test the law.

Received a call at 1:39PM (answering machine took it)
Claimed to be with the Wild Rose Party reminding me it was election day and to support that party ( I do not!)
Campaigning on election day is illegal. This is either:
    a) Wild Rose Party campaigning illegally, or,
    b) someone impersonating the Wild Rose Party

Either way, I submitted a complaint to the CRTC concerning the phone number.

Probably one of those "reverse number lookup" companies hoping you will subscribe to find out who is calling you.

I tried calling the number back twice, but was told number was no longer in service?

Two different people called for our IT guy from this number but wouldn't leave a message or tell why they were calling.

This is a pre-caller, they record when you do answer the phone and sell the list to other scammers and telemarketers.

This is the second time I get a call from them and after the third ring they hang up or when I answer they hang up

I'm on a do not call list and I still get these calls!!!!!!!!!!!

i got a call from this number at 11:21am 6/22/09. when i picked up it beeped three times in rapid succession and then dumped link saying 'signal faded' on my phone...???

didn't answer... then got a continual "beeping" like a busy signal... a voice saying there is trouble completing your call"... I finally had to unplug our phone to stop this message.

Number phoned and no one responded.

have recieved this call a few times. very strange. no one answers.

got the call April 30 2010 at 5.31 pm. I missed it. Never heard of the number before.

i also got that call but didnt get too it so i called it back and went into voicemail after so many rings and said that the voicemail belonging to ..i think it said pro golf...was full

Got a call about 5 mins ago.  The guy's name was War**n Rans**m and he said he was doing a survey about camping.  He asked a question about western canadian campgrounds or something to that effect.  He then said that I had too much background noise so I suggested that we would be unable to complete the survey.  Very weird.

Received this call as well. so annoying

Said they were some company wanting to get my feedback on some oil issue (wasn't really paying attention).  Anyways, I told the girl to go away and I hung up.

Said he was calling from the Wildrose Alliance Party looking for donations. Wanted my full name, which they have on file. Caller then said they are a "3rd party fundraiser" and I hung up.

This guy just called my work and asked for the owner-I asked who he was he said Kevin @ EFiveStar Group. I told him to take us off their mailing list and he said NO. Then asked to talk to our IT personnel, I refused and he said he will just keep on calling and hung up. Jerk!

Person keeps calling both home and cell phone..They hang up when you answer.  If we call them back the message says, voice message box is full.  Annoying....
