I just called The Weedman Calgary and they admit that this is their outbound number.  I am a customer of theirs so I asked them to flag my account to say I don't want any phone calls.  She said it would work.  We'll see!

Just got a call from this number and when I answered no one spoke and hung up after 17 seconds. I tried calling it back and it rang busy.

This number has been calling for two weeks, every evening, numerous times.  Whoever it is will never get a response however since the number they are calling is my office number and I'm not here in the evenings.  Still annoying to come in every morning and see all these missed calls.  I did email Weed Man to get a free estimate on getting some work done but they did not respond to my email address, so if this is their way of getting business it's pretty pathetic.

this number calls, no one talks on other end when I picked up, no caller display. Tried calling back and get constant busy signal and no announcement. Call came in at around 6:30 pm on February 02, 2009.

I got a phone at 5:19 pm yesterday. She asked me if we canceled a program. but we have never registered it.

This number just called my home, asking for my Aunt. She wasn't here so the man said he would call back another time. He sounds older but I'm not sure who he is. Time of call was today at 3:17pm.

This number calls my phone just once every week night between 6 and 9 pm, and on Saturday mornings for weeks, leaving no message.

I continually get calls from this number - it's always a hang-up.  Reverse lookup shows nothing.  Dialing it produces a busy signal.  Very irritating.

This number calls over and over again, I answer, say hello a couple of times and then they hang up. More creepy and unsettling than anything. Every time I try to call it back it is a constant busy signal.

I received few calls from 403 537 1688, no messages and if I call back the line is bussy, why all these unwanted calls? I was suprized how many people received the same phone call

This number has called us 6 times already in the last week. Nobody is on the phone when we pick up. The other day they left a message. Just some creepy heavy breathing and then whoever was on the line hung up. Very weird and definitely annoying.

This is a legit # and a legit company.  Pain in the a*** for phoning so late.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well. Yes, weedman is an actual company but it doesn't mean that this person is with them. Since I am already a customer there shouldn't be any phone solicitation. I suggest you do not give this person any money. I would get his name and contact The Weedman to see if he is legit. Their number in Calgary is 403-243-5770.

It's Weedman. They are actually a legitimate outfit. They did offer a discount when they came door-to-door. The offer is valid and they have given good service. Calling and not leaving a message is pretty annoying though. But they are for real.

This number calls the house EVERY NIGHT and has for over a week!!!  It's always around 8:30pm, there is, of course, no one there.  After reading the above complaint, I remembered my mother (who lives with me) telling me that a couple of weeks ago a young man in his 20's came to the house wanting to sell us his "weed" expertise.  The company that the estimate to take care of our lawn was on paper labelled The Weed Man!  He told my mom that it was $235 dollars but if she acted within the week he would give her a 10% discount!!!  My mom did not let him in the house and he didn't even look at our back yard so my mom thought his "estimate" was very fishy...
I am going to print this page and take it to the police district by my house so they have a record of all our complaints.   Do not let a young man in his 20's inside your home if alone!  Be aware!

I thought it was just us...we receive a call from this number ONCE a week, when we answer there is NO ONE there or a click, than it is ALWAYS followed by another phone call with a blocked call display and same thing NO ONE is there. When we call the number back it is busy.

Who are these people calling us and why are they doing EVERY WEEK???!!!

There NEEDS to be a STOP to this, it's making me CRAZY.

I have recieved 2 calls from this number... He said he was 'The Weed Man' and wanted to know if my husband was away on business or at work. He said if I paid $200 within a week he would give me 10% discount on a complete 'weed treatmen'. He kept prying for information about when would a best time to call (so he could find out when we were gone!). I am very suspicisous of this number. I felt like he was planning something... robbery? not sure.

January 14 2009. We received a call from this number and when answered there was no response, just a click sound and then we hung up.  Why telephone anyone if you aren't going to talk to them?  We receive many calls like this from various numbers displayed numbers coming from Virginia, Florida, Ohio, New Jersey etc.
