I answered once, but get calls from this number every so often. I don't answer because  I found out that it was expedia

Left voice mail saying I won WestJet prize.  Usual travel scam to steal personal/credit card info.

Got a call from automated message telling me to press 1 to accept a prize from Westjet.  I have strong ties to Air Canada so they really goofed.  And if they knew my place of work they would never have dared call me.  These people are calling people totally at random with no knowledge of who they are.  BEWARE.

I am a Virgin customer and I got the call, didnt pick up as  everyone in my circles know
I do not use this phone except to txt, so I knew it would be a  hoax or sales pitch.

Got a phone call saying won 2000 westjet reward points and to accept press 1, which I didn't do. seemed like a scam

Got this call on my Rogers cell phone.  You are a valued Westjet valued customer and have been chosen to receive 2000 airmiles.  As soon as I asked where they got this phone number, they hung up!

I received a call one afternoon on my cell phone with this number and I did not answer it coz I don't know whose number is it. I called back the number using my office line and the answering machines say that I dialed a number which is not in use. This is bogus number.

The Phone number if you answer it askes if you have a credit card & if you are over 25 then it transfers you to  another person named Carlos then he put me threw to Dean Shields the promo manager he confirmed that we would recieve two seprate bedrooms for 799.00 all inclusive when i agreed i was transfered to a business department after i ageed to there sales pitch then i asked that person to confirm what i was sold they lied not seprate bedrooms two beds in one room .Then i said i didn't agree he said too bad that i had already agreed & i could not get back my purchase refunded we were sill on the phone same phone call i then asked to talk back to promo manager he was not avaiable .. Now i am disputing the charges threw visa wish me luck  / Visa tells me if they would of sent me a e mail with terms & conditions on a letter to print off & sign & send back then I would be held accountable but since it was over the phone i can't be held accountable . I have sent them a email requesting that they reimburse my visa they have two weeks if not reembursed then Visa will stand in my corner /// Warning the old saying if it sounds too good you bet your bacon it is /// I hope that my mistake will help out another hard working person

Got a call from "WestJet" telling me i've been selected to win 2000 flyer points. Right.

Just got the call to my cell in Calgary.
Did not pick it up, came here to see what it is.  If it really is Bell with a special prize, I'd laugh since I don't even have Bell.

got a call from this number just after noon today as well and its not a bell number as if bell wants to tell me anything the text my phone or i dont know caller ID says bell

They/It phoned on my work phone.  Automated voice saying that I won a prize of extra westjet dollars or something similar and that I need to press number 1 to collect . I stayed on the line but never pressed 1.  Eventually within about 20 or so seconds, the caller hung up.  I believe that the call was a scam.  I a,lwyas thought it would be a great idea that if the police had a credit card number specifically to use for scam calls such as this.  Basically if someone called and requested personal information requiring a credit card and the such, the credit card number would basically be one that is specifically set up to be able to hunt down and quickly locate where the card is in use and be able to catch these crooked thieves quickly and thoroughly.  I don't know if it would work, but it's just a thought.

Only my immediate family have my cell number.  This is an unwanted telemarketing number I believe.

I justed booked a Hotel with Hotwire and it showed up as Expedia on the bill and gave my number in the contact registration.  I'm guessing the two or related somehow.  Did not pick up

I got a call, mid-afternoon from this number on my cellular. My number is known by only a few people, and used  mostly for texting.  Didn't answer it; rejected the call.

Received a call from this number on my cell. Missed the call . No idea who this is.

Dude, that's deep. I work in a call center and I hate my job but it's the best I could do right now. I can't ride strength, I lack upper body strength, I have no college, my husband left me with a big mortgage... so I work in a f****ng call center and I listen to dicks like you act like they're kings all day. I know the calls are annoying, and I know no one needs the crap I'm selling, but I need a job. So f*** you, Cpt. Dickus.

They're your typical scammers. They know who your provider is (by looking up who owns your number), and then they feign as your provider to try to get your credit card number.

The best thing you can do is press 1, talk to a person, give them fake information and waste all of their time. They're probably poor so this should make them frustrated and cry.

I don't answer these calls, but have been recieving many of them both on mine and my husbands cell phones as well as on our home phone number. This is only 1 number, we receive calls from different numbers almost daily.

hung up as telcoms dont use this form of contact also they seem to know which cell co. you have or use to .hav, scammers dont hit 1
